To Wallis or not to Wallis

I'm $20k shy of being able to double upgrade Cripps & Tarrant to Rocky & Lewis

So I'm now thinking of going..

Tarrant to Rocky (via Bonts Fwd)
Miller to Wallis
giving me $150,000 leftover

Wallis looks to have stepped up and should avg.100-105.
Depending how he's tracking turn into a fallen Premo or M8 keeper

Team will then look like -

Mids: Fyfe, JPK, Gray, Selwood, Danger, Rocky, Cripps, Wallis (Krak, Heeney, McKenzie)
Fwd: Martin, Swan, Bennell, Bonts, Mitchell, Ryder (Clarke, Lonie)

Miller has to go IMO next 5 very tough
GC have -
Hawks, Swans, Freo, Carlton, North

Wallis run a lot easier
next 5 -
Giants, Port, Lions, Saints, Carlton

I am 50 k Short from Cripps to Rocky. So thinking of going Lumumba to Wallis via Mckenzie and Cripps to Rocky.

There are no good downgrades atm and dont trust Biggs Job security so hopefully wallis can fill my M8 until I finally decide to upgrade my last mid.

Can easily trade him up to a gun later or use him at M9 for the weeks when Swans, hawks and Freo decide to rest Fyfe, Kennedy, Lewis, Mundy etc.

I like the Wallis trade. Depending on who you trade out, it makes a little cash and then he should avg 95-105 for the rest of the season.

The other question is is Savage a viable pick for a D6/7? $317k, only low scoring games were when he played a defensive role, plus an injury. Take out those games and his avg jumps to 87.5. Can't see him playing many defensive roles again. I reckon he can keep an 85-90 avg for the rest of the year.

Saints hit a very tough run soon.. Make sure he doesn't get tagged out of games because I think he may be susceptible to a hard one (62 v Carlton)

Re Wallis think it is a very silly decision, won't be a keeper and won't rise enough to be worth it.. Would rather a rookie instead but that's just my opinion hahaha

Cripps -> Wallis
Miller -> Lewis/Selwood

Leaves Saad, Ox, Wallis and Tarrant/Clark on field

I will be bringing Wallis in this week for Miller, with Cripps to Rocky as well. Definitely like the look at Wallis for M8, then M9 in later periods of season as a loophole.

Holden the ball

i dont think its worth it ill be looking to upgrade cripps to lewis next week

To comment or not to comment, that is the question!

Tempted to bring in for Tarrant helps my bye structure

Wallis and Rocky in for Lulumba and Crripps.
Dale is no good, scores bad, and js bad.
Don't get sucked into anther Glen or Anderson who are now stuck on my bench and useless for a while.
Wallis is solid. You know what you're going to get.
I watched his last game closely again and he is always at the stoppages.
He will avg 100+ and be excellent back up when he is needed at the end when hell breaks loose.
Plus may win you a few league games in the short term if you have a tough league like me which is also for cash.

I just can't see why he is even being talked about.  ???
