Thoughts on Jake Spencer, Jamar out.

3 game average of 91, BE of 0, priced at $344 300.

Currently have Grundy and too many R12 players, worried about Witts in the team taking points from Grundy.

Maybe looking to use Spencer as stepping stone to Sauce Jacobs after his bye.

Current rank 508, playing for league but may look at having a crack now for overall.

You'd want to have a heap of trades left to be going down that path, otherwise 500th becomes 5000th pretty quickly once you run out! I'd be looking to finalise rookie upgrades before making luxury trades if I were you. If you linked a picture of your team perhaps we could give some better feedback as well.
Cheers

Thanks MC.  Would love to link but I'm not sure how.  Will post team shortly.

Other option is go Grundy to Jacobs, or should I just keep Grundy.

bottlemart

Yeo, Higgins, Pearce, Oxley, Saad, Lumumba
Kelly McIntosh

Fyfe, Neale, JPK, Steven, Danger, Rich, Griffen, Rockliffe
CEY, Krak, Mckenzie

Goldy, Grundy
Cox

Gray, Martin, Swan, Bennell, Bont, Mitchell
Tarrant, Clark

Team Value $12 942 000.

Started slowly but scoring well now, but still just under 600 off the pace.  A bit of ground to make up, but willing to have a crack.

Backline still needs upgrading, maybe Lumumba to Simpson.

Atm I'm trying got work out how long to keep Grundy.  With Witts in will he start scoring more 60's like he did on the weekend.

I could upgrade ruck or downgrade to Spencer, which will allow a Lumumba to simpson, or do I go Tarrant to Dale and upgrade Grundy to sauce, or do nothing.

So... how many left?

Has probably cemented his spot for the next couple weeks and should have a fair bit of confidence after the win. Gawn is knocking on the door in the twos though and they will want to give him a run soon.

If I trade out Grundy, trying to work out the best option, gamble on Spencer or pay more for the safe option of Sauce Jacobs.

Pay more for Sauce if that the way your going, i'd be looking at your backline. Lownumba should go before Grundy im thinking.

Agree with only trading to a true premo if you are hell bent on it, no sideways trading to another short term winner that may lead you back to the exact same position you are in now.

If i were you i would get Goldy, in a couple of weeks he will be 500k ish or maybe a touch less with the 47 in his rolling average.

Agree with Grazz mate. Pay for the proven premo and then leave for the rest of the year. But I would hold on Grundy and look at Sauce after his bye. Address your backline first

When it comes to SC, Jake Spencer is not the answer to any question

Unless the question is "Who should I not bring into my SC team that plays as a ruck for Melbourne and has the initials JS?" :p
