Just wondering what people think of his as a POD up forward. My forward line is stock standard atm with Gray Martin Swan Franklin then rookies. Looking at upgrading Tarrant.

Goddard is my other target but has to be after the byes due to other R12 players.

He's currently 500k with r13 bye

Only worth bringing in a POD if they will be a positive POD - ie score more than the more mainstream choice. If you believe that boomer will score more than the mainstream and/or comparably priced choices: Bennell, Titch, Bont, Goddard, Dahlhaus etc then go for it!
If I was going to choose a POD I would go for one of the following:

Dahlhaus (3rd best average of 106, 4.4% of teams, 510k, lowest score of 79!...)
OR
Devon Smith (Averaging 100, 1.8% of teams, 497k)

over Boomer (Averaging 89, 3.6%, 502k)

had him last season and he was excellent. He finished 2nd overall for forwards just behimd Robbie Gray. Doubt you'll pick him up any cheaper than he is atm.

if he got to 450k i would look at him, not at 500k better value elsewhere in younger legs.

Been keeping an eye on him. Hasnt been burning it up or anything. Ive decided that devon smith is a better option.
Ryder and franklin are priced to buy and more upside I think.

He's playing a different role this year. Playing across half back which I dont believe he's ever done before? Obviously not helping his scores out.
