I've actually had an OK week aside from Dixon playing the Hawks and Fletcher being subbed out  :(

110 from my captains im pretty happy with that.

roo boys!

New York
D: Shaw (216), Kolodjashnij (43), Gibson (119), Duffield (65)
M: Montagna (CC), Johnson, Macrae (94), Wellingham
R: Pyke (102)
F: Tippet (72), Bennell (75), JJK, Cloke
I: Adcock, Waite

= 786/8 (one CC)

Toronto
D: Shaw (103), MacMillan, Kelly, Butler
M: Pendlebury (C), Griffen (59), Smith (104), Cunnington
R: Hickey
F: Henderson (41), Pavlich (72), Crisp, Ziebell
I: Robinson, Swallow

= 379/5

So a big sunday coming up with 17 players to come

Montagna x1.5, Adcock, Waite, Cloke, JJK, Stevie J, Wellingham + 407 + HGA

vs

Pendles x2, Hickey, Robinson, MacMillan, Ziebell, Crisp, Swallow, Cunnington, Kelly, Butler

So NY currently in the box seat but with so many players and captains to come its too early to call it either way I feel.

Jukes

Pretty unlucky that you played Pyke in a ton-and-a-million-hitouts-week rather than a 20-hitouts-for-22-sc week :P

Keep calm and believe in your hack of a captain tho haha

Can't say I'm happy that Griff is a spud, seeing as the guy we traded him for hasn't played a game yet :X and you spuds negged the original deal because I was winning it too much, riiiiight. We want next year's pick 32 as compo!

Yeah exactly no Toronto game is over either way until Pendles has played. And it seems every time the Pies play against North Pendles always kills the Roos, so I decided to do a little research...his last 6 games against North read as follows

128, 157, 160, 86, 160, 162

at an average of 142  8)

Don't get me started on Griffen, would have to be one of the most frustrating players in the game at the moment  >:(

I just realised I cc'ed Dys and not Ward, so happy :') was thinking yesterday it was the other way around, love that 12 points :P

Have more players and better players left, with a pretty sizable lead can't see us getting done in...

Buenos Aires are having their best game of the season, with a score pretty much anyone would take at 950/9 (C Played). Well done! With Mumford failing for Cairo... I'm giving very little hope for the Sands.

Cape Town sure have suffered from Cameron (how dare he take Hogan's rising star nomination?!) McCarthy, with that 19 giving the Samurai perhaps a slight advantage at the moment. However, with Captain Stefan Martin still to come, the game is up for grabs. I also fancy the Cobras remaining players better than the Samurai, and will back them to get it done.

Charlie Dixon has really let me down. If he got a decent score, I'd be keeping up somewhat. Alas, Dublin are just too strong and they should get it done from here. I'm probably going to lose my 4th match from scoring 140+  :'(

What the hell Mexico City. I'll be playing this Dublin 2.0 next week, so great. Rio are having a shocker, but they wouldn't be too upset as a good score would be a waste against this team at the way it's looking.

The Thunder were let down by Lachie Neale and I suppose Eddie Betts this week; a good score from both would have them a good chance, but Moscow are looking the goods at the moment. I'll back the Spetsnaz.

An interesting match here... especially, as pointed out by roo boys, that Pendles loves his Roos. Toronto have another 10 players to come, so it's hard to predict who will win. All I know is that New York would have loved some more points on the board at this stage, despite being well served by a coaching mastermove in Co-Captain Heath Shaw. I'm going to back the Revolution though.

I think this match will well and truly bring Pacific back down to reality somewhat, whom are looking at their third straight loss. Bugg and Howe combined for 61 points which has really hurt. If Pacific had the same score but were looking at a 60ish HGA, I'd give them a real chance. But the Saints are putting in a strong showing, and should win from here.

PNL plugging along nicely, with Captain Priddis having the potential to bring their score to 160 if all things go well. Poor New Delhi. Might be struggling to reach 1000 this week.

Seoul are clearly having their best game of the year, and didn't I tell ya in the preview?! That, all it would take for Seoul to post a 140+ score was if all their midfield guns fired at once, which hasn't happened this year yet. And that's exactly what's happening. Another thing I predicted, was that London would lose to a bottom 5 club this year, and that's also what is happening. I'm just too good. Seoul should bring it home!

Dangerfield only just fell short of McGlynns scored doubled

Purple 77

Also I reckon it's Cape Town v Rio de Janeiro to be eliminated from World Idol this week...

Teams remaining:
Berlin Brewers
Cape Town Cobras
Christchurch Saints
Dublin Destroyers
London Royals
Mexico City Suns
Moscow Spetsnaz
Pacific Islanders
PNL Reindeers
Rio de Janeiro Jaguars

I kept saying Mexico should be the flag favourite,  the list is stronger in the short term as so many old guns.
