So I am looking to bye structure and atm I have 5 round 11 bye players and 3 round 12 down back and overall only 7 missing in round 13 bye.
So which defender would be the best pick from round 13 byes
I was going to grab Yeo but he is suspended this week and I want to start sorting my defence out now
Thanks

No one really screams "pick me" do they. :/

I've had Heater since round 1 and been relatively happy to leave him there.  Enright and Kelly are up and down and getting old, Enright was looking good till Kelly came back too.  Harry Taylor another option?  Butler has been fairly consistent in the 80's for a POD.

Yeah that is the problem and why I haven't bothered with my defence until now but since I am 1 off a full midfield and 1 off a full forward line I thought I would hit my defence up this week.

Good plan, but you could honestly just keep rolling with the rookies, however to sure up your byes its a good idea, roll a dice i say!

if you can wait and have a look at mackie he could be a good pick up, he had 50 odd starting as sub he was pretty solid last year and hopefully he is over his quad problem

LF

Yeah I could wait and maybe just try and downgrade somewhere if anyone pops up
Cripps is my M8 and McCarthy/Clark are my F6 with McInnes on the bench
My defence is kind of weak with Simpson,Newnes,Rich,Ox,Tosh,Kelly on field

what do you think of hibberd? had a good score on the weekend and is 414k, i havnt watch much of essendon but they were  flicking the ball around a bit so you would think that would be a good thing for him, 102,55,76,53,104, is very up and down butif he can get back to some sort of form he could be a good pick up

Hibberd's a round 12 bye.  In general he is cheap though, I've had him for 3-4 weeks now and can safely say I've been disappointed, but bar Hodge, Mundy and Boyd the rest have been disappointing.

His bye is no good for me at all so no chance I can grab him round 12 is the bye I have the most overall players out

Butler, is about the only other with that bye I can think of

Mackie is likely to be cheap in a few weeks due to the sub game but the old man down at the cattery seems the go. Shaw has been good in SC but pretty meh in DT. I think Boris is probably going to be the most consistent.

#11
list of def players (by total points) with the rd13 bye (over a 70 average):

T McDonald - 701 (av 87.6 )
E Yeo - 699 (av 87.4 )
C Enright - 696 (av 87 )
H Shaw - 661 (av 82.6 )
J Pittard - 639 (av 79.8 )
S Higgins - 628 (av 78.5 )
H Taylor - 622 (av 77.8 )
S Wright - 606 (av 75.8 )
S Butler - 594 (av 85 - 7 games)
C Garland - 568 (av 71 )

By consistency (most consistent first):
H Taylor, H Shaw, C Garland, S Higgins, S Wright, T MCDonald, J Pittard, S Butler, C Enright, E Yeo

notes:
does NOT include any new DPPs
and Enright and Yeo are 'inconsistent' due to their 150s

My choice would be Enright although I'd put money on him missing a game or two at some stage. If it happens after the byes it's probably not that much of an issue though.

Ricochet

Tough list to choose one from. I'd probably go with Kelly or Enright I think though

How about thurlow average of 82 and is def/mid
