He scored nearly as much as Goddard that last qtr even though goddard kicked two goals, a tackle and a few posessions. Makes no sense. AND beams got scaled to 104 and goddard down to 78. How does that make sense when beams didnt touch the ball??

Thanks Sherlock  8)

I'm pointing out he got 16sc in the 4th with no influence from a mark and kick  ???

He had that possy in the 1st couple min of the quater and his SC kept going up every few minutes 1 at a time  ::)

It is for earlier influence in the game.

Shouldn't be rewarded when he didn't do anything in a whole quarter though

Considering the game is over at that point they are rewarding him for actions earlier in the game. If the last quarter is just turnover after turnover they will hold off the points and dish them out to say a goal kicked when the game was in the balance etc.

Ricochet

SC also has areas of scoring that DT does not reward points for

e.g. hard/loose-ball-gets that don't result in a possession

You wondered why he got so many SC points in the last. And Mat told you that he was still being rewarded for influential acts he carried out earlier in the game. Because that's how the SC scoring system works. I don't see the problem
