hold selwood, lumumba on the other hand....

Does anyone thing Geelong's new ruck strategy with Stanley and Blicavs has affected his scoring opportunities somewhat?

jfitty

I've been planning to trade Selwood in for weeks now, but his price and form keep dropping.

I think he will turn it around though, he's one of those players who is too good not to.

He's had a few pretty hard tags, Geelong have had a few bad games, and the usual injuries and niggles. But once he turns the corner I'll be jumping on for sure.

But if you don't have him - would you consider buying him in now on the cheap?

A Geelong mid would help my bye structure...

LordSneeze

Get him on the cheap. Is more reliable than Cripps, Miller, CEY and even if he doesn't pick it up he would be great bench cover.

Ill be waiting for him to bottom out though.

Holz

the question really is do you trade him in now if you dont have him. I would say probably yes.

I'll give him another week to show something without a Curnow stalking him. Has a high BE so should drop more.

But yes, I think he will be a solid pick.

OR, is Barlow better at just $490k?

Southstorm

He's still one of the best players in the competition. I'm not sure he's ever had a rut that's lasted this long, but just last year he had a string of sub-100 games and still finished the season on 120ppg.

Selwood more proven - gotta go him I reckon

Aside from the fact that Jelwood is indeed in a rut, he can score very well and his draw is a little easier from now on in my opinion, so in saying that, would you pick him up this week for $517k (avg 99) or go with Lewis (avg 111) at $538k?

At the moment I have Lewis, but I only have two spots to fill out of Sloane/Selwood/Lewis/Sidey so am very wary

yep, in the same boat ... I think i'm just going to wait and make my choices during byes for the now 'traditional' upgrade season ...  :D

Mat0369

Go with Lewis. He has been getting a ton of the pill so that is always a good sign. Also Hawks have Suns, Saints, Crows and Dons in the next 4. He isn't going to get any cheaper.

batt

Alright what's the deal?  Just not getting as much of the pill as usual.

I don't even own him and I'm frustrated!  Really want to bring him in before the byes.

colmullet

He's got till after the byes to turn it round for mine, ill look at him once i've finished my team
