Matt Priddis should i do a downgrade on oxley to get him

Dayze

Think the boat has sailed mate.
The last two weeks near 520 was when to grab him.
Just grab Rocky this week for 150k less. Every single dollar counts

No.

But for a more detailed answer: First of all, why? Because Priddis got 196 on the weekend? Makes his average look pretty good but bear in mind it was against the suns who have not been good this year. His other scores have been 78, 106, 88, 99, 112, 127. He's now priced at 590k, and really as far as a mid fielder is concerned he's had 2 scores worth that sort of price tag, the last two, and they're gone. Priddis has over the years been Mr Consistent but usually a 110 max sort of player, last year he had a blinder but in a normal week I wouldn't want to be relying on him for anything more than that 110, and I see him as an M7/M8 kinda player. Not someone I'd want to spend 590k on. That may seem harsh and maybe I should give last years performance a bit more respect but in many years prior to that he's been that sort of player, and before his 196 his average was 101.6... One huge score has pumped it to 113, but that's not what I'd expect from him.

Oxley on the other hand has maybe topped out as far as a cash cow is concerned, but he's still one of the better performing defenders in the world at the moment. A little disappointing to only get 64 and now has a BE of 95, but that's actually not impossible for him. And then, who are your downgrade options? Lever/Pearce? Pearce must have pretty shaky JS and neither Lever nor Pearce has been going that well in terms of making cash from now, so they're pretty much dead end options I would think...

POINTS!!

Yesterday's points

PICCOLLO

His form is on the improve but he ain't going to do that every week.

Grufflez

Agree with don't chase the points and has been a 110 kind of player but 115 is certainly possible from here on if Westcoast continue to win games, at 600k he is still decent value for money but not undervalued now at all, 600-625k is about right.
It's kinda hard to pick the 115+ mids atm.

locknload

Not at this stage - keep in mind as an upgrade target leading into finals.

scotty_222

he worth the price tag?

i have fyfe, pendles, watson, lewis, rockliff as my premiums.
trying to sort my byes out.
its either priddis or buddy and pocket the extra 200k for next week

Grufflez

he is worth 600-625k imho but there are some really great value fallen premos atm so i'd look elsewhere.

No way is he worth >600k. His last 3 games he's gone over 120, but not in the 5 games prior, and his price (and average) is currently massively inflated by that 196. Without that game he's averaging 105, keep that in mind. For similar or better output at lower price you've got Mundy, JPK, Pendles, Ward, Danger, Lewis, JPK, Beams. I don't think Priddis is any safer of a pick than any of them, but is much more money. I think Fyfe is the only player definitely worth paying >600k for, perhaps Gray also but he'll come down sooner or later.

You have 3 of them... JPk is easily my pick of blokes you don't have, round 12 aside. You want the best players. If you're determined to have someone not in round 12, Beams. Danger a bit more risky but at 100k saving I'd much rather him than Priddis.
