Has McDonald had his good run and now on the way down....

Av just 80 least 3 weeks.

Would it be better getting in Houli, Hibberd (much cheaper), or even McGovern...

Want to upgrade Tosh to someone..

Already have Shaw, Gibson, Birch, Rance plus the usual rookies Saad, Oxley, Lever

I will be bringing in Hibberd personally. Has a history of 90+ for the past 2 seasons. TMac is doing ok in a very bad Melbourne team - Pies put some work into him by leaving Trav in the goalsquare which negated his productivity by making him accountable, other teams will do the same.

More help plz

Shiel vs Ward?

Shiel. Ward got boosted up by his 175. wont do that every week.
Ward. Proven gun. Was priced at 600k @ beginning of the year for a reason.

What about Wines v Ward?
Now that's a tough one, I'm considered the same, but this is how I arrived at sticking with Ward.

Wines obviously had the sub affected game where only played 65% of game time. He was on 76 at the time, so if we presume he played his average amount of game time, his score would have been approximately 96 points. Taking that into his average, he's at about 113 for the year. Funnily enough, the same as Ward averaged in 2014.

It's a toss of a coin. The question is, does Wines being 20k cheaper make up for the fact that Ward averaged 113 over 20 games last season whereas Wines has only done it for 6? I don't think so.

Thanks Jayman, I appreciate your rationale.

I am worried that with another year up their belt and the gws kids maturing  they are starting to take points off ward. Whitfield Coniglio Treloar Shiel Greene and the inclusion of Griffen (despite him not scoring too well) I'm just worried Ward will be a lot more up and down then last year. While Wines will only continue to improve...

Tosh has a low BE. Do you really have to trade him out for a player who either gives you one or two games before his bye anyway.

None of the defenders are screaming to be taken at this stage.

Maybe aim to get Hodge after round 12? His BE of 94 isn't going to allow him to go up by as much as Tosh so save a bit there.

Also if you have 3 Hawks, seems unlikely they'll all get rested together thereby spreading your soreness risk.

Other option is A Pearce this week but like a lot he has the R12 bye.

H. Taylor v McGovern?
I'm the biggest fan of Gov but he hasn't shown his ceiling since round 1.  Taylor on that basis.

Shaw v McDonald (how close is it?)

Shaw I reckon, he has a long history of solid premium scoring.

Mine:

Selwood vs Ebert vs Ward

Need to pick 2!

Selwood season is starting. Put ward down for 110+ from here on out. Ebert abit too up and down for me.

Mine:

Hamling v A. Pearce

Looking to trade CEY. Have 309k in the bank. Shiel v Ward? Exact same avg. Ward coming off huge score, is he back? Shiel has been quite consistent. Which one? Looking for rnd 13 bye player.

I think trade out Brown even though his JS is prob better, but Mcintosh can score better.

Kavanagh or Boston?

I am deciding out of these 2 aswell.

I reckon Kavanagh has the better scoring potential and job security.

What's everyone else think?
