You have a great looking team, I think this decision shoud be based around getting Gaz into the mix, Lids is looking great but he's not wothy of 2 trades. Goddard & Gaz, find a way!

Thanks for the reply mate, GAZ is tempting but i'm not sure that I fully trust his body to hold up. Hurts when he's getting 180s though I must admit!

Based on the evidence of the past 2 weeks I say yes, only 7 games of footy to go, I think he can last the distance. This is the greatest footballer of the past 20 years we're talking about, the master of Supercoach and the captain we can rely upon. I would move heaven and earth to get him in, in fact I did, leaving me with an incomplete team and zero trades left. That's how highly I rate him.

Tough one as relying on Steele might be a roller coaster. This is one scenario where Gaz may not be the best option (unless you have trades up your sleeve).

OK, slightly convoluted one... I have four trades left and should, barring extreme catastrophe, make finals in both my leagues. My team has been complete for some time but it does contain Smith at D6 and Barlow and Selwood at M7 and M8. My cover is Lever and Hamling at the back, Steele, Dumont and Amon in the mids and Lambert and Dale in the forwards. I have about five grand in the bank and, while my left brain knows I should just sit tight and conserve my precious remaining trades, I am considering:

1. Trading Smith and Lever for a premium defender around $480k and either Fields/J.Kolo/Goddard.

2. Trading Smith and either Dumont/Amon for either Malceski/Kelly and either Knight/Harmes.

3. Trading Smith for either Fields/J.Kolo/Goddard and upgrading either Barlow/Selwood to Ablett.

Are any of these worth doing or have I just grown overly trade happy?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Adams next week (extra 70k or so, yet has been DOMINATING lately, averaging 115 last 5)

Each would only require 1 trade, leaving me with 3 - and the inclusion of one of these blokes pushes Ziebell/Motlop to the bench as mid/fwd cover. Was considering Lids, though he requires 2 trades and it would give me 4 tigers on field which i'm worried about.


PS - my worry with Adams is how the return of Greenwood effects him?
