I am stuck. I have enough $$ for anyone and byes are looking perfect anyway. Going for overall if that makes a difference. Ward seems like the obvious choice but I'm not that keen I don't know why?

Which Sydney Mid should I get
Hannebery, JPK, Parker and Tmitch

Can't go past JPK if you want a proven elite scorer, but Parker is hard to pass up and represents great value at his price. Hannebery has scored all over the place in the past, and even though Tom Mitchell has played well the last three weeks, I'm still not sold. Would go with Parker because even though he went up 30k last week, he is still great value.

Treloar (490k) vs shiel (550k) vs ward (560k)

I have Treloar in my team, so I would say to get him, except he is named on the fourth bench spot, so based on the stats he is a good chance for the vest  ;). Really like the way Ward goes about it, and not sold on Shiel. In the end, the 60-70k you save on Treloar could come in very handy elsewhere.

Ward or Beams

Beams if Brisbane is back. Can see him forming a great partnership with Rockliff as they rack up the cheapies all over the ground the way the Pies mids did in the last couple of years. Not sure if he will see a hard tag every week, but even so, still a very good pick with a good bye.

Tom Mitchell or Barlow?

Barlow has done nothing to inspire confidence this season. Got solid scores while Freo were flogging poor teams, but not much else otherwise, which is a worry with Fyfe, Mundy and Neale all lifting. At least Mitchell has delivered the scores so far, so would have to go with him.


Need to trade one of Oxley, Kamdyn and Gus Brayshaw to Rockliff this week. Leaning towards Brayshaw at this stage and keeping Ox until his bye.

Im bias and will say Hanners, he is looking delicious this yr and i'd say a bit of a POD, but might have issues with him and JPK and the rd 12 bye, otherwise i'd say Beamsy, i like armo too, he doesn't look like slowing down either! haha lucky dip cobba
