Massive fake Peach....

Well played North, I won't say it was fully deserved after some atrocious umpiring but you took full advantage, props to you guys.

Did you watch the 3rd you got all the calls back in 10 minutes

So I have Hepp in perfect 9. Tied for the highest score with Gibson, it will be interesting to see how it is scaled.

RaisyDaisy

Tarrant on 78 unscaled

Surely he couldn't score exactly 78 3 weeks in a row?  :o

Mailman the 2nd

That gave us direct shots at goal? All of them? You had four in a row that gave you shots at goal in Q2.

The same, let's hope he gets scaled more than Petrie, Gibbo and Ziebs!

yeah nah the umpiring has been fine except for the McKernan mark and the inconsistent 15m kick calls

Don't know why Baguley's spoil has been highlighted as an incorrect call, that's a free kick 10/10 times

Wrong again Mailman, as usual.
Wayne Carey just said it was BS.

lol Wayne Carey has no clue. He made 0 contact with the ball, hit Waite after he had marked it front on. You could not have a more definitive free kick

reckon he has more knowledge of the game then you mate

His exact quote was "That's incidental contact" which doesn't matter seeing as incidental plays no part in whether its a free kick. He impeded Waite's marking contest by not properly contesting the ball.

On the Razor Ray scale for terrible umpires this is pretty middle of the road stuff

I know this was a long time ago....

But did he chop the arms? No. Was there high contact (which it was paid for)? No. Front on contact? No.

Contact to the side? No rule against that, unless youre not going for the ball, which he was.

So someone please correct me on that.

That 10 mins was a farce. McKernan's mark, Jobe should have been shooting at goal from a blatant hand in the face, Waite given the ball for nothing, Thomas clearly giving away a huge free. None of these were even 50/50, the "ones the bombers got back" were all there. The score could have well and truly been 5 goals the other way in that 10 minutes.

Mailman the 2nd

I can't remember it very well but it was front on contact.

1. Waite took the mark
2. Baguley crashes into him, doesn't make contact with the ball at all so its a free kick even though he did everything else right.

Didn't really matter in the end. Both teams had sufficient chances to win the game and blew them constantly. North just got more in the end.
