Get outta here, Varejao ::)

Barnes missing the open 3's from the top is the difference of not having Green. The shot at the top is Green's shot

Jay

Yeah Barnes was tragic today.

Not surprised Cleveland won with Draymond suspended. Game 6 will be very interesting!

RiOtChEsS

Amazed the Cavs shot those shots that well for an entire game, phenomenal

Jay

Kyrie was just lights out. Special stuff!

Holz

very happy with the result.

I fear it will be the same as last year a close game 1 loss costing them the game.

would have been 3-0 up last year and you would think they close.

2-3 down is still tough to come back from 3-2 up i reckon they would close easy.

Irving must not be traded, James Irving combo is worth pursuing.

Love was absolutely terrible 2 points and 3 defensive rebounds 2 blocks and 2 turnovers.

go cav go

Had a Dante Exam so didn't watch the game but from my usual round up seems like we're due for a regression to the mean game? What do people think, will we go to game 7?

I think the Warriors manage to close it out in Cleveland. They only lost there in game 3 because they lacked effort - they'll be fired up this time. Draymond back means the Cavs will not have two players scoring 40+ I don't think..

On a side note, today just showed how valuable Draymond is. With him out, the Warriors went from a fantastic defensive team, to giving up two efficient 40+ point performances. I think he is the most valuable defensive player in the league, even over Kawhi, so getting him back should help slow down the Cavaliers. Also underrated with Draymond is his offensive importance to this team, especially with Steph injured/struggling. Just had to have watched Harrison Barnes today flowering up the plays Draymond usually nails.

Game 6 is pretty close to a 50/50 even though I slightly favour Golden State. Would then obviously heavily favour the Warriors in a game 7 @ Oracle, but hey, you force a one-game decider and anything can happen!

For those who are interested in this sort of thing... According to FiveThirtyEight's model,  LeBron's teams, on average, have had a 39% chance of winning the Finals over the 6 times he's been in it. MJ 66%, Duncan 68%, Bill Russell 72%, Kobe 69%, Magic 45%.

makes sense

1. Spurs big 3 up against a young lebron - heavy underdogs
2. An experienced but older Mavs - this one they should have been favorites and lebron choked.
3. A young but very talented Thunder - tunder had just as much if not more talent but first trip to finals Miami should have been slight favourite and won.
4. A very very good spurs team with an old big 3 and Leonard - about a tie
5. Leonard got even better and big 3 was still great - I had edge to Spurs
6. Cavs injured even though it was a young team no way they were favourties.
7. "Greatest Team Ever"

so by my calucations

2 they should have been favorite
2 slight underdogs
1 even
1 no hope

so if he can pull 3-4 thats a fantastic effort.

My Chumps

Jay

As for Finals MVP, is this the most open we've ever seen it? Draymond, Curry, Igudala, Klay, LeBron, Irving are all realistic winners!

LeBron should be the Finals MVP obviously, as he's been the best player in the finals (and was last year too), but he won't get it unless Cleveland win. If it's going to be a Warrior I think it should go to Igoudala but will depend on how these next 1-2 games go.

My Chumps

All depends on these last few games. If Cavs win it's obviously Lebron, but for the Warriors it's just whoever plays well in the clinching game.
