I'm going to start watching some tape on these guys, but from the limited stuff I've seen and heard, I'd take Simmmons first no matter what.

Also, poor Sam Hinkie. They finally get some lottery luck and he isn't there for reasons which are ridiculous. He should get 100% of the credit if this team ever ends up good.

yep Hinkie did a great job.

Saric is coming back, I bet Embiid gets healthy. They could play playoffs in 2 years and people will give all the credit to the new guy.

Dont they have like 2 first rounders next year?

Surely they could try to package like Noel + lakers first rounder for something good.
so what was the wash-up re Hinkie in the end?? Did he get 'pushed aside' so he left or simply turfed out??

I agree with Marcz, 76ers should just take Simmons and he plays 'point fwd' but in the 'position-less' NBA where it seems to be heading for the near-to-medium term future, he could do this in the PG spot - why not??

he's not Magic but Johnson was 6ft8in as a PG - Giannis has been played as PG and isn't he 6ft11in??
so 2 smalls as shooters, 2 bigs and then Simmons distributing as point-fwd - imagine him on the break??   :o    ;)

having said that, Ingram could spread the floor for the bigs with his shooting??

Pretty sure he and the owner fell out...

My theory is if you put both on that team one makes it a lot better, the other loses efficiency to make it slightly better...

Hope not. Centres who can't play defense are becoming incredibly less valuable.

Might be unplayable in the playoffs if he doesn't develop at an above average rate on D

Thibs cleaning house - 9 front office and basketball staff gone.

Toronto's offence still sucks but they put up a massive defensive effort with Joseph and Bismack killing it on D. Scola and PatPat also combined to annoy Love enough to force him out of the game.

Toronto had a lot of things go their way though - DeRozan shooting well, Cavs not shooting as lights out as they have been (Btw, the Cavs are the biggest 'jump shooting team' left in the playoffs), and a massive home crowd effort - but I reckon they always had the ability defensively to put up a good fight, and winning a game convincingly was quite impressive. See if they can put up more scrappy performances like this through the series.

LeBron's flopping tho...

Gotta love the Biz and his energy! Teams nearly gave up on him due to his ineptitude on offence but he's turned things around. Love it.

I thought it was more Cleveland couldn't get as deep in the lane and their outside shot wasn't falling...

Predictions for today:
OKC is up 10 late 3rd early 4th only to be run down by the GSW and lose a close one

Golden State are iccccce cold atm.

Though I guess if there's any team in the league that can turn around a 25 point half-time deficit its them.

Unless of course they put the cue in the rack and player their bench for the rest of the game.
