Didn't watch Lakers much this year. I always thought of Russell as a SG but played PG in college due to Ohio State not being good. Was he as bad as people were saying?
I thought he was actually really good.

Okay just all the lakers supporters I asked didn't. I assume he played the point?

Ingram to Phily ;)
Simmons

Australian connection, plus all the 76's point guards suck so may as well take the best distributor in the draft
I just don't like Simmons. He can't shoot like his jump shot is awful

I dont think they can go worng with this pick. they need a SF or a PG.

same for the lakers.

Celtics is the team in trouble, they could have really used one of the two.

You don't know if he can shoot or not - he never took any.
Yeah I know he hardly shot but when he did it wasn't pretty. His shooing will get better and is a better alround player. I wasn't a huge fan of Ingram either until late in the year he started making big shots. I just feel like 76's needed someone like Ingram but every other team I would tell them to take Simmons
Thing is Simmons will make the 76's shoot first guards better with his skill set, makes everyone better basically

Ingram will just be a talented shooter on a bad team with "still" nobody to distribute, that wont make the 76's better

Ingram fits the need so it will be interesting to see how they go. They have so many 4/5's and lack shooters

He has some arrogance and selfishness about his play which Byron Scott would bench him for

I expect the next coach will have instructions to give him all the minutes he can handle, giving us a clearer picture of him next season

Surely u prefer Simmons?

Look how well bench players on the Cavs and Warriors shoot with LeBron and Draymond distributing and filling multiple holes

Simmons is the guy that free agents will look at and say i wanna play with that guy, he will get me clean looks

exactly the reason why Lebron is still the best player in my books is that he makes everyone else have better shots being the best passer in the league. If you can find a poor man's Lebron then you have to go for it. If someone could pass to their bigs then there offence would run much smoother. They still have plenty of picks and guys they can trade for a shooter.

Saric is coming in and the guy is a decent shot and can play small ball 4.

They really need to trade Okafur or Noel though. As much as i love Okafor i would move him on and they should get something decent for him.

I'd rather Okafor over Noel

agree.

however if Embiid is healthy do you go Embiid/Okafor or Noel/Embiid. Noel is great on the defensive end.

Saric is also a PF.

they need guards and small forwards.

It's a huge if, but IF Embiid is gonna be good to go i would move Noel, Embiid/Okafor is a better duo than Embiid/Noel imo

They need an engine, BS will make Canaan, Stauskas and Covington shoot more efficiently with his drive and kick game

Ingram needs to be on a team where there already is a solid PG so they elevate each others games (not sure LA is ideal)
