Manage to pick up the win and go 1-0 up. Based on game 1, should be a good series

Holz

what I loved was an all round peformance

Durrant only went 33% with 26 and 10
Ibaka 11 points 11 rebounds
Adams 16 points 12 rebounds
Westbrook also 33% with 27 and 12 assists

the good thing is Durrant and Westbrook actually can be quite abit more efficient next game.

Reckon the difference was OKC's turnovers and defence cleaning it up in the 2nd half.

                     1st Half          2nd Half
OKC TO's        10                 1
GSW FG          51%              36%
GSW Assists    18                 8

Two promising signs for the Warriors (Early):
Only -2 on the offensive boards which was meant to be a major indicator going into the matchup
Seemed to get the better shots overall - If that trend continues they should still be the most likely to win

All that being said this has the makings of an all time classic series, really hope it goes to seven as a neutral fan!

its tough to say if thats positive or negative.

If you look at it through Thunder Glasses (which I am) , they didnt get many offensive Boards and still won. What happens if they start getting them.

We clean things up and Russ finds his groove and we score 38 in the 3rd

It's promising. The fact they didn't get hammered on OREB's is a good thing, and the Warriors probably set out to do that.
You can play that game with anything man, what happens if Westbrook/KD shoot 40%+, what happens if OKC turn the ball over at a reasonable rate, what happens if the Warriors shoot 45%+ in a whole game. They're all interesting trends to monitor over the series and we'll see which one makes the major narrative.

My Chumps

KD and Russ go 17-51 and still get the win. Crazy.

Managed to get through the  whole day without any spoilers and just finished watching it.  I keep saying it, keep the TO's down and OKC win ball games, they need to take the ball off Durant for handling duties, he just seems to lose it over and over trying to be too tricky. Thought Warriors played a fairly bad game, so it's still their series to lose, but good start from OKC, Roberson is got a whole lot of confidence from the final game of the Spurs series and think he's going to make a massive difference in defense and the 1%ers.

REALGM are saying that if the Lakers fall to #3 they will look to trade their pick.  So if they get #3 or #4 they will trade, if they fall to #5 it goes to 76'ers

they wont even get the pick if they fall to 4

I'd rather see it go to Philly, they've been suffering for a long time and could do with some hope

its a shallow draft though lakers getting 3 is the worst case for them. As someone who wants to see philly do good i think not getting a pick this year would be the best case. I just hope for their sake they get a top 2 pick as they need simmons or ingram. They really really need simmons.
