Steph Clutch Curry has a nice ring to it :D

Whatever you do Plum, don't read the comments on the NBA fb pages regarding Steph and the Warriors.. My goodness you lose brain cells just reading that stuff.

its not pessimism, Im more then happy for him to go beserk in the playoffs and the warriors win the title. Im just not crowning anything yet.

Im not saying he isnt clutch, im not saying he isnt great. Im just saying he hasnt proven it yet.

for the record i think he has a good chance of doing so in the coming weeks.

Yep that's so true, those comments are literally the same 2/3 points. Reddit is so much better for the discussion and stuff.

What does 'proven' mean when he's a two time MVP and favourite to win back to back titles...

Anyone still disbelieving in Steph Curry is like those who doubt Leicester wining the EPL! But guess what?

They already have ;)  ......  if you get my drift

Let's see if I can explain this properly.

Steph Curry is a fantastic player and deserves his multiple MPV awards

BUT

He does not deserve to be in conversations about the greatest top 10 players etc.  He has been good for 3 seasons (4 at the most).  He has been in the league for 7 seasons (maybe 8 - need to double check).  He averaged 30pts this season (his first time at that mark).  Jordan averaged that for his career... INCLUDING his 2 seasons at Washington.

I have been watching NBA for 26 seasons, seen countless hours of footage pre 1990

The Steph Curry 2016 season is some of the most incredible basketball i have ever seen in my life

It's even more impressive to me that he is 6'3 191lbs in a league that has long been dominated by lengthy above the rim players

More or less agree with this, I subscribe to the theory that you have to  play at least 10 seasons before talking about career, all time discussions.

He's on track to be top 10 all time even if he regresses a little

Incredible yes, but the competition now does not compare to the competition in the 90's which is what makes MJ the GOAT hands down.  He dominated ridiculously good players, not 1, but all of them.

... who else is a legitimate contender for top 10-15 OAT at that height, let alone weight? Isaiah?

Jay

Surely Pop was trolling.. Anderson minutes in the first quarter, and GUARDING DURANT! Anderson is impossibly slow, he has no chance of sticking with KD for a second. Oh and Kevin Martin in too.. Whhyyy
