Shoot out going on in Atlanta, battling for the 3 seed. Celtics D not as disruptive as usual but getting good looks on offense.

Not without the usual horrendous charge call though..
hoping to tie it up tomorrow, what is the tie breaker i wonder...
I tried to work out the 4-team tiebreaker between Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Boston. Didn't get very far :P
a win for us tomorrow literally gives us an identical conference and divisional record as your guys, so head to head?

do you think Doc Rivers is gonna keep resting starters the rest of the way being their seed is all locked up?

Eastern conference playoff seeding:
Atlanta have a one game lead in the loss column and have the tie-breaker over Charlotte and Boston already clinched. However, Miami have clinched the tie-breaker over Atlanta. Atlanta play @ Cleveland Tuesday and then @ Wizards on Thursday. So you would predict they finish 49-33. You'd have to say they are very likely to finish at the 3 seed.

Hornets, Heat and Celtics are all predicted to finish at 48-34 per http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-nba-picks/.
Miami play Orlando tomorrow, are @ Detroit Wednesday and back to back @ Boston Thursday. They have the tie-breaker over Atlanta, but not over Boston, and to be determined with Charlotte - which will come down to division won/lost percentage. Miami are currently 9-6, and Charlotte 7-7. So Charlotte need Miami to lose to Orlando, and then they'll need to beat the Wizards and Magic to tie up the division record. In that case, Charlotte will have the tie-breaker as they have the better conference record.

Boston play at home vs Charlotte and Miami, neither on back-to-backs. You'd have to say those two games will go a long way to deciding the seeding. We also already have the tie-breaker clinched over both Charlotte and Miami due to division record (somewhat helped by having Philly, Brooklyn and New York in our division :P).

Charlotte play @ Wizards tomorrow, @ Celtics and then at home vs the Magic to finish. The tie-breaker over Miami is the only relevant one they can claim, but even that is unlikely.

If Charlotte, Boston and Miami finish with the same record. The first round matchups will be Boston vs whoever wins the tie-breaker between Miami and Charlotte, Boston with home-court. And Atlanta vs whoever loses the Miami/Charlotte tie-breaker with Atl having home-court.

Western conference playoff seeding:
The Mavericks are locked in now leaving it between Houston and Utah for the 8th seed. The Jazz currently have a 1 game buffer and play @ Denver tomorrow, Mavericks and @ Lakers. However to make it interesting, Houston play Lakers, @ Wolves, and Kings. And Houston have a 2 game lead in conference record. You'd still say Utah because of the game lead but Houston are definitely not out of it.

The Mavericks can jump Memphis for the 6 seed too. They are currently equal in the loss column but play @ Clippers, @ Jazz and Spurs. Although, I'm not sure how many Clipper and Spur starters will play - my guess is not many. Memphis are @ Clippers and @ Warriors. And Dallas do have the tie-breaker over Memphis so they're odds on to avoid the dreaded Spurs and Warriors and instead play OKC in the first round.

Lottery odds:
The most important situation is the Brooklyn (Celtics) vs Suns. for the third best lottery odds. Brooklyn currently have 1 less win and go @ Pacers, who will still be trying to mathematically lock up a playoff spot, Wizards, and then Raptors who I assume will rest. Phoenix play the Kings and then @ Clippers.

I want to see 41-0

invincible at home is probably the best regular season record ever. Better then 73-9 in my books.

Go Spurs Go.

im slowly turning into a spurs fan. How can you not they have been all class for this long. The only reason i havent been is they were the main team standing in the way of Lebron (3 finals against)

Jay

Spurs played a great 6 minute stretch to start the 3rd quarter. Then Curry just comes down hits two threes and the game's tied. Spurs margin for error is so small in this matchup.

72-9

Now they have a 3 day break and then Memphis for the record.  Barring a miracle you think they have got it in the bag.

My Chumps
