They should just change the way the playoffs work until the east can scramble together some decent teams. Would much rather see the cavs actually battling good teams like OKC, GS, Spurs, Clippers to get to the finals

Granted the top of the East is weak after cavs but 4-10 is arguably as strong in rhe east or stronger

Yeah this year is particularly bad in that middle bracket in the west. Thought Grizzlies and Rockets would be better

@Jayman

Saw this "speculation" article about trades for Miami... and this one included the Celtics.  Interesting option IMO

Interesting, but I'd decline. Whiteside is going to want a max deal this off-season, and I don't think Boston will want to give him that - which is understandable, the dude was out of the NBA a couple of years ago. And yes he's had a great last 12 months, but I wouldn't give up multiple assets to get him.

Tough one though.. I could understand if Boston did accept that, we're getting desperate for an all-star calibre player and aren't far away from taking a big risk.

The real cock up is hiring this guy before you knew the then best player in the world wanted to play for you, the owner has his head so far up his own ass he doesn't  even understand how to run a team, that hiring was way to early, from memory it was before free agency started, it was a candidate that nobody else was going to hire, what was the hurry?

For a up and coming team not a championship calibre one. This just increased the Cavs chances dramatically.  Other teams should jump on blatt though

Because the dude is such a f'ing prima donna that he wouldn't work with the coach because he wasn't making money off his signing and one of his boys?

Apart from the fact he was ignoring anything Blatt did anyway. The egomaniac is going to go on even more of an ego trip now
