Yeah true, Spurs are notoriously bad at managing their players. Don't think they have adequate playoff experience to really compete either.
;D ;D ;D nice one :P

the point im getting at is that right now doesn't matter for those 2 teams, ideally they would like to wrap both teams in cotton wool so both are 100% healthy heading into playoffs, they can't, so until that time we're just guessing as to who wins, injuries happen and if either team had even a minor calf strain/hamstring in April to 1 of their top 3 players it's going to shake things up ;)

Jay

The Cavs just cannot beat Golden State.

RIP Holz

last I checked it was still the regular season. have said numerous time warriors are the best regular season team in the NBA. Cavs wont have to worry about them in the playoffs anyway as they wont make it to the final. Even then I would have Cavs in 6 or 7.

Don't see it. Warriors have the advantage at all but one of the matchups and Iggy-LeBron isn't enough to make up for it. Would be surprised if Love played more than 15 minutes in a potential series, and Irving cannot defend Steph close to well enough

If the Cavs beat Golden state in a 7 game series, I'll change my display picture to this for a month.

not sure Curry has that much on Irving. Irving probably cant stop Curry, but not sure curry can stop a hot irving. Also It wouldnt be irving on curry anyway.

remember the cavs are the number 2 defensive team in the NBA.

bigger difference in Iggy Lebron then Curry Irving.

wont be important though as spurs should take them out anyway. Spurs I would say would be the much much harder matchup v the cavs just because Leonard v James matchup.

nobody on the Warriors and in the NBA can stop Lebron except for Leonard.

LeBron shot 39.8% in the finals last year.

you have a lower percentage when your 2nd and 3rd options are out and you have to completely change your game style with your opponent knowing that you will shoot and can double and triple team you.

he did score 35.8 points, thats not getting stopped. Especially with 13.3 RPG and 8.8 APG thats just insane. was the clear MVP of the series.

when you get the most rebounds, points and assists on both teams then you are pretty special.

You probably will be proven wrong Holz, but I'll give you this - props to you for sticking to your guns regardless.

do you think the warriors will make it past the spurs though?

im tipping we wont see a cavs warriors rematch so we wont even get to see who would have won.

im going to stick to my guns unless warriors win this year. If they do I will 100% give credit to them and concede that they are one of the great teams.

I don't think it's as out of the question as you say it is. A WCF of Spurs-Warriors could end up being the real finals and one of the best conference finals ever the way things are going right now... Absolutely cannot wait!

Geez I really hope warriors make it to thr finals now. Added incentive on top of being the easier opponent compared to Spurs

Are you saying the series has to go to 7
What if cavs win in 6 5 or 4 :P
