Yeah I think I agree with you Holz. AD is obviously a better player than any other big man and is one of the better prospects in NBA history, but my point was that just on this season alone, a guy like Favors has been just as good.

Davis gets talked about because he is Davis though and most people seem to be on his back abit this year for not living up to his potential.

He Is Back, Young Bloods.

The guys team was decimated before they even started the season guys!  No Asik, Jrue, Tyreke...Ajinca and Anderson missed games too!  He's 22, can't be expected to do everything for his team, he's not that type of player like Lebron, Durant etc who can take over a whole team by themselves.  The teams only just getting back to full health, and they've been winnig more games since getting those injured guys back.  you guys sound like the media criticizing him, yeah his year hasn't lived up to the hype yet, but it's not all his fault.

Sacramento are only 2 games out of the 8th seed. Ranked 9th in the west for point differential adjusted for strength of schedule, and 11th for net rating (offensive rating - opponent offensive rating), over their last 10 games they rank 9th in the west, ahead of teams like Memphis, Pelicans, Denver and Utah.

Not quite ready to say I think they'll get in, but they're certainly around the mark. Which is a big improvement on recent years.

Im a big big fan as you said its plenty of time left and he has had no help, just abit scar to see his PER drop that much. He has been bad by his great expectations. needs another star to work with

Curry has Klay
Lebron is Lebron but has had love who is ok
Durrant got Westbrook
George been beasting it alone

I think one of my favourite players to watch of all-time, Manu Ginobili, is the 6th man of the year so far. Per 36 minutes, he's averaging 19.3 points @ 46%, 5.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.9 steals, with a PER of 20.5.

Pretty great for a 38 year old!

Totally agree he has no help. Their GM hasn't managed to put good talent around him yet and stuff like signing Asik to a 5-year deal is worrying, but I guess there is still plenty of time to get it right - they just need to be patient. Have also seen a number of people who watch games every day, say that Gentry has arguably done the worst coaching job out of anyone this year. Not blaming Davis much for their problems, as he's been in an incredibly tough situation, but just pointing out that he has dropped off from last year.

The loss to the T'Wolves 2 days ago definitely hurt - I believe we should have won that but we played TERRIBLE.

We are definitely in the mix.  I think we are either 9-9 or 9-10 since we started the season 1-7.

If we are in the mix for the 8 at the end of the season then I will be happy.  I will be very happy if we make the 8.
