Up to 18 assists.  1 more and he will hold the record for most assists in a game by a King (beating Jason Williams)

Quality over quantity, every one of J-Will's assists is better than a Rondo assist.  Haven't watched any Kings games, but when he played for Boston he was lucky he had so many good shooters around him.  Standard Rondo assist was a 1m bounce pass to his left or right to KG, PP or Ray.  Great player and facilitator, but he'll never be remembered like J-Will.

J-Will has MUCH better handles than Rondo and some of his passes were INSANE!

Rondo doesnt do flash very often, just meticulous and get the job done.  Which is kind of what we need right now

the behind the back elbow pass is the greatest thing I have EVER seen on a basketball court!  A mate pulled it off in a social league game once, but the guy missed the layup, devestated!

So did the guy who J-Will passed it to - that being said, he was fouled.

Sixers looking like they might pick up a win against Boston.

Okafor had an off night been inefficient still 16 points 9 rebounds 4 blocks aint bad with 5 minutes to go.

elephants

Geez, given their recent form the Pistons went bananas on the Heat :s

Super stoked that Brooklyn are competitive against OKC in OKC.

I saw something yesterday that said that Jah performs better offensively when Noel isn't on the court. The unfortunate thing for Nerlens is he has no offensive game and that was his knock coming into the league. They can't space the floor with both Noel and Okafor on the court and it stuffs the inside game. Who would have thought that they would be missing Ish Smith? He had a really good rapport with Noel last season and is a good facilitator. Kendall Marshall is injured at the moment but one thing he can do is pass, it will be interesting to see how they function when he is in there. Wroten comes back in a couple weeks as well, he provides a spark although he also does some really stupid ish.

Noel is the guy I reckon they move on. Okafor is their franchise player at the moment.

move on Noel for a SG/SF. Hopefully get Simmons then just cross your fingers and hope that Embiid can get healthy.

Okafor Embiid I can see working.

Only issue they have there is they won't be able to guard smaller lineups since Oakfor and Embiid don't have the speed. Offensively Embiid can stretch the floor so they won't have issues there. They need a Kyle Lowry type PG that can slash and facilitate but also has a respectable 3 ball. It will be interesting to see what pieces they add in the draft this year and how this young group continues to progress.

“This is the real story behind it. Ben Simmons is the son of someone I coached for four years,” Brown said. “I was his dad’s assistant coach when I was with the Melbourne Tigers and his mom was the head cheerleader and then here comes Ben Simmons.”
Simmons’ dad, Dave, played 13 years of pro ball in Australia where he teamed up with Brown. While with the Tigers, who retired his number, Simmons played alongside Seton Hall standout and former NBA player, Andrew Gaze.

Needless to say, Brown remembers the elder Simmons’ game very well.

“David Simmons was from Harlem, New York. He could have been a linebacker, he could have been a prize fighter,” Brown said after Tuesday’s practice. “He was a basketball player more out of athleticism and girth than he was out of finesse and skill. He was a tough, tough 6-8 and hard like an Anthony Mason-type player.”

Ben Simmons isn’t that bruising type of player.

“His son is finesse and a 3, 1, 4,” Brown said. “Really different.”

Different from his father, but not so different from the style of play from other NBA players with Australian roots. Along with Simmons, Brown also coached the father of Utah’s Dante Exum and Kyrie Irving’s father when he played pro ball in Australia as well.

Here are the highlights for Okafor in the Minny game

There is also a rumor that the Lakers are offering up Russell and to remove the restrictions on their pick for this year for Jah. So they get the Lakers unrestricted first and Russell for Jah instead of it being top 3 protected.

And then there is this as well

@DerekBodnerNBA: Really bad loss by Milwaukee, at home, against a Sacramento team without Cousins. MCW with 4 points on 0-7 shooting, -21.

Jay

Okafor and Embiid would not be a good pairing. They need Noel for his defense.
