The west is completely stacked. Going to be a dog fight, much more then last year. If Spurs Clippers are healthy i cant see teams getting through them. Cavs no joke either.

The west is stacked, almost a lottery, but I give Houston a real shot. They were the #2 seed last year with not much Dwight Howard, and now you add Ty Lawson... Stacked. The Warriors are the clear favourites, they dominated the west last year and brought everyone relevant back. But I think Houston are right in there with the next tier of Spurs, Clippers, OKC.

yeah seeding is gonna be really important in The West, whoever goes 1 and will most likely duke it out in the WCF

Thunder clippers Spurs were better just injured.  unless masd injuries occur. Warriors dont even make conference finals

Yep they are good like the 4-5 best team if everyone is fit. As I said all year they arent a playoff team. Issue is every single team besides the pelicans weren't anywhere close to 100% maybe Houston but they also wernt a playoff team.

They won the championship though, and none of the series' were even close. The Spurs could have avoided the Clippers in the first round, all they had to do was beat Pelicans on the last game of the year, and they couldn't pull it off. Yet they would have beaten Golden State? The Clippers were fit, and collapsed vs Houston.

I know Golden State had a lot of luck, and most other teams didn't, but they still dominated the league last year. I expect them to go back-to-back.

He was still good enough though. Can't use that to take away from the Warriors. He was out on the court when they collapsed vs Houston, and when they lost the G7 to Houston. Who in fairness were a pretty good team, but they were beaten pretty convincingly by the Warriors next round. It was Warriors 1st, and daylight 2nd last year - whether there were injuries or not. They could afford to rest their guys because they'd get so far in front in the first 3 quarters. I think Curry had the fewest minutes out of MVPs in recent history.. That wasn't an accident.

They are the only team with no holes in them, so can't see why they shouldn't be the favourites. Unless you're saying Cleveland should be the favourites just because they won't have to beat anyone good to get to the finals - which I can understand.

The Spurs might end up being the best team but starting as favourites seems bizarre to me. Yes they got Aldridge, but Splitter was a great fit for that team, and they've lost him plus some of their depth pieces. They're relying on Tony Parker being the Tony Parker he was 2 years ago, which I'm just not sure he can do anymore. Manu Ginobilli is one of my favourite all-time players, but how much does he have left.

My main concern with the Clippers is, 'who defends KD, LeBron, Kawhi etc'.. Paul Pierce is an upgrade over Barnes, but he's not someone who can defend the elite guys anymore. Redick can't do it, CP3 is too short.

Thunder have 2 top 10 players and another elite player in Ibaka. But who else? Waiters is awful, Kanter is alright but playing him with Westbrook and Durant makes no sense because there isn't any shots for him. But you have to play him with Ibaka to cover up his defensive mistakes.

These teams should all be elite, but they have flaws which we just haven't seen from GSW yet.
