The deadline passed today for Tristan Thompson to accept the Cavs' 1-year qualifying offer.. Which means they'll have to come to a deal (reportedly are $14 million apart) or there's no TT on the Cavs this year :o
after signing Love i honestly dont know why they're bothering to try sign him, he WAS good for them with Love out, that is an expensive bench guy playing 20 minutes a game

Is Sportsbet broadcasting Nba pre season games?

Yep you're right. But the bigger question is 'why didn't TT just accept the Cavs offer' ??? What does he think he's worth? :o

But I'd be surprised if they didn't come to a deal. The biggest criticism during LBJ's first stint in Cleveland was that they didn't spend enough to put as many good players around him as possible ;) Gilbert won't want to piss LBJ off again..

Gilbert doesnt want to piss off LBJ but he has to be realistic as well

I agree that TT should take the deal.

paying 100 mil in luxury tax is trying hard enough, ask Prokorov (whatever his name is) how that worked out for him

this is why maybe you keep wiggins on his low contract and dont go for love. Love was still a really good get.

this is why you sign up TT on a bigish contract last year and not pay through the nose now.

yeah in hindsight it definitely would have been the better move, drafting Oladipo instead of Bennett wouldnt have hurt either :D

I can remember someone was talking up TT like 2-3 years ago. Cant remember who, Jay you have a good memory can you :P

Sullinger got to be going after max money next contract as he is better.
