Jerry Colangelo stood down and Josh Harris had a press conference introducing Bryan. There are a bunch of rumors flying around at the moment about the whole situation.

Theres a lot of talk going on about how people always suspected Harris just wanted to flip this team for a profit. Hinkie was supposed to build it back up so he could sell it for a huge profit, but Harris had a really bad year with his investments, and looks like he wants to flip it much quicker. That stuff all makes a lot of sense seeing what is going on here.

Josh Harris and Sam Hinkie supposedly had such a differing view towards the end, that Harris felt he couldn't even communicate that with him, and went behind his back to the commissioner. Harris doesn't care about basketball, and the narrative that he does is PR nonsense. He's a pure businessman and hedge fund guy through and through

Basically BC has come out and said he is going to make some trades and sign someone. The talk is he is going to go after DeRozan who is one of his boys from Toronto. There has also been trade rumors that have Noel and a first (not sure which one) going to the Cavs for Kyrie. He left Toronto in a pretty bad mess when he left. There were some posts on the Real GM boards from some Toronto fans detailing what happened. His best pickup in Lowry was his consolation prize after failing to get Steve Nash.....

So basically it sounds like he is going to do everything that Hinkie didn't. Trade away these assets for guys that aren't franchise changers and dish out big contracts to overpay guys
