My take on plus minus is how valuable YOU are while YOU are on the court?

it depends what plus and minus you are using.

it has to do with who you are on the court with more for normal plus minus.

Anthony Davis -1.4
Harison Barnes +7.3

so Barnes is a far superior player to AD?

Jahil Okafor is -9 and the second worst player in the NBA according to the stat.
It's what I understood the stat to be, could have different interpretations of the in game stat than over a season/career

Blake Griffin would be the best example of that i would think, so good when he plays but the Clippers are better when he doesn't

Lets Just wait for Playoffs.

Im expecting Warriors to almost sweep every team to take the championship. To be the best team of this era they need to have no series even go to 7 games.
w0w dude you must really love LeBron if you think that iso ball they are playing at the moment has a hope of hangin with GSW

I wouldnt be surprised if an East team works out how to shut that down and the Cavs dont even make it to the finals :-X

iso is actually a legit strategy against the warriors. Lebron when he handled the ball last year took them to 6 games on his own. the Warriors defence isnt their strong point they have 103.5 points against compared to cavs at 96.8. I know they play up tempo but it could cause some problems against the Spurs/Cavs

I would say the Cavs have a better chance of making the finals then the Warriors actually.

the odds makers agree with me Cavs are shoter odds then the warriors.

JBs-Hawks

Of course cavs are shorter odds for finals, they're in the East.

This. They'll be underdogs in the finals no matter who they play.

I'm with Riot actually, would not rule out the Raptors at all from beating Cleveland.

The statement was i wouldnt be suprised if someone in the east knocks out cavs.

My response is it will be less suprising if someone in the west knocks off the warriors.

Im actually saying that will probably happen.

Also thunder v cavs my money on lebron.

RiOtChEsS

Lillard and McCollum are a crazy good duo, Plumlee does a really good job getting them the ball out of post ups and pick and rolls

The Thunder making the finals is an even more outrageous prediction than the Cavs winning it.

The way I see it is...
Tier 1: Golden State
Tier 2: San Antonio
Tier 3: Oklahoma City and Cleveland
Tier 4: Clippers and Raptors

Raps ~= Clippers? I think there's a slight gap because the clips at their best can hang with the best teams, including GSW, whereas the raps aren't capable of that calibre of play I reckon

Depends on matchups.

Spurs i have over warriors so if thats the game to get into the wcf and thunder can go in the other side.

I like thunder shot against spurs. I dont like themv warriors

Yeah you're probably right, in a vacuum, Clippers are a better team than Toronto. But if you're looking at it in terms of who has the best chance of winning the finals, then I'd say Toronto because they'll only have to beat 2 great teams, whereas the Clippers have basically an impossible road to the 'ship.

Overall, I see them roughly pretty similar depending on how Blake and Demarre Caroll come back.

Jay

Jeff Green has actually played really well down the stretch here. Horrible offensive foul call there though, looks like the Clipps will lose this. Hurts in the chase for the 3 seed with OKC.

Skip said something smart!

http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=14842860&ex_cid=espnfb

thats uncanny i was about to post Skip just said the dumbest thing ever.

I have had enough of this hype. Warriors best team of this era, Nobody has a shot against warriors this is boring now its Curry greatest season ever.

Talk about living in the moment.

You could put an argument that he is having one of the best offensive seasons ever ( even though this is not true) but best season ever.

Do people realise there is a thing called defense? How good a defender is Steph?

I can bring up soo many better seasons.

my best is shaq 99-00 I know not the best D ( 3 blocks) but 29.7 PPG 13.6 RPG 3.8 APG 3 BPG 57.4% FG

Wilt had crazy numbers but its hard to compare.

Lebron James has seasons with almost as good offense but much much better defense.

I will end this with Jordan. Since we are talking best of all time.

Jordan had 5-6 seasons easy better then Steph. Steph is having a amazing offensive season, I would say Jordan was better on offense though. The difference Jordan v Steph on D is a joke. Jordan has a DPOY and is an 1st team defender (like lebron)

Its getting to the point of no longer being a joke its getting sad now.
