Toronto scrape through slog-fest

Although had their opponent been different and Andrew Swallow would have played, Toronto should consider themselves pretty darn lucky this week, as they notched up a win with the 4th lowest score of this week (New Delhi would have beaten them!). Buenos Aires simply had no leaders today, with no one registering a century. This isn't a good look for the Wolves though, and need to be much better that this... my heart remains with Beijing this week  :-X

Toronto Wolves (19.7.121) def Buenos Aires Armadillos (15.11.101)

Best
Toronto: Ben Cunnington, Jack Ziebell, Mitch Robinson
Buenos Aires: Nil

Late Changes
Toronto: Alan Toovey, Isaac Smith replaced by Aaron Hall, Angus Litherland
Buenos Aires: Shaun Atley, Patrick Karnezis replaced by Justin Clarke, Corey Ellis

WXV Debut
Toronto: Angus Litherland
Buenos Aires: Corey Ellis

Club debut
Toronto: Kane Mitchell
Buenos Aires: Nil

Reserves

Manitoba Moose (11.6.72) lost to Buenos Aires Armadillos (14.9.93)

Best
Manitoba: Andrew Swallow, Cameron Pedersen
Buenos Aires: Troy Chaplin

Nige

Sigh, we're probably the worst team in the comp right now.

So it seems Christchurch aren't the team that will take down the team coached by a player abuser (the wooden spoon was found in the desk of Holz' office; covered in blood)... so which team will it be? I genuinely believe they will lose at least once before the finals... will be interesting to see who it will be.

Christchurch Saints (23.6.144) lost to Dublin Destroyers (26.10.166)

Would have liked a bigger win given its just Christchurch, but ill take it away from home.

low blow purp, im hearing some of the stories coming from Buddy and he tells me coach Purp is even worse.

roo boys!

PNL and NDT  :o

As for Toronto, I wish I could say a win's a win, but the state of the defence in particular is very concerning..big month coming up with some critical games against teams we expect to finish at around the same level as us.

Low blow? You're the one that fractures your players faces, and you call a low blow?

Oh, I'm coming for you now Dublin >:D

im hearing that all Dylan Grimes injuries were inflicted by the coach, years of abuse at Berlin.

well you wont be able to get me out on the field. Maybe you injured Sloane and are trying to cover it up. Who will you take out next week?

See you in two weeks, with all of your 15 players looking at their feet at the final siren, biatch  :o

I'm gonna be the one to take you down... I might even rest Fyfe, depending if New Delhi can field a team next week  :o

Also, well done to Beijing and Toronto breaking their ducks this week!

Whilst Mexico City continues their unbeaten run against London.

Already sent Jay a celebratory kik message :P
