I've been pretty lucky this year, much the same as the start of last year..... :)

Only Lamb, Heeney and CEY for me, as well as Bennell missing a week. CEY and Heeney currently on the pine, will trade Heeney and hold CEY.

Is anyone considering holding Heeney? Rookies that I want to move out from now til the byes are already Newton, Brayshaw, Hogan, Vandenberg, McIntosh, Goodes, Belly and possibly Lonie or Clark

Given I'm going to upgrading and downgrading all these rookies at points where they aren't going to make any more cash (this week Newton and Hogan), so I shouldn't be missing out on any cash generation by keeping Heeney. Then when he comes back I get 50k-100k in price rise when there might not be any good rookies around. I also get loophole benefits whilst I hold.

Also, trading Newton instead of Heeney this week allows me to get BJ instead of Mitchell for Hogan

Do it, hold Heeney, cash in ready cows and go a solid option like BJ over a maybe like Tich.

Doc larkins said Heeneys type of injury is closer to an 8 weeker than a 4 - 6 weeker. Plus the fact that his breakeven is 90+ and he'll most likely have a few games where he dips in price before he starts rising again. Plus it's also the swans midfield he will be trying to get back into after an extended layoff inbetween all this. Really worth keeping him?
