Fixtures
Chicago v Quito
Brooklyn v San Francisco
Boston v Houston
Peru v Anaheim
Santiago v Colorado
Las Vegas v New Jersey

Chicago and Quito have both underperformed this year, and both coaches will want to rectify this immediately and get them from 2-4 to 3-4 as they push for a finals spot. San Francisco were awesome last week and will need to beat Brooklyn to solidify themselves as a prime top 4 candidate, while Brooklyn, our lowest scoring team so far, will want an upset in front of the home crowd. Boston and Houston both sit in the top four and will want it to stay that way in an anticipated clash. Anaheim were impressive in a loss last week but come up against the ladder leaders in the match of the round, only 3 points total separating the two teams. Santiago have been impressive as of late and will battle Colorado to see who jumps to 4-3 and who falls to 3-4, the Avalanche being the favourites having scored 46 more points this season despite both being 3-3. And in the final game, the bottom two sides clash in another interesting encounter - the Sinners have scored 20 more points this season and have been very competitive, but NJD are at home and have the potential to score much better; should be a close one.

Obviously huge problems with our depth of talent (a lot of injuries & omissions), Forward line really lacks stability (Two trusted forwards are Waite & Crisp, Waite is unreliable and Crisp lacks a high ceiling). If Duncan's injury extends for a longer duration than the bye week, and Macrae fails to recapture form, it will look like the Cockerels will have to focus on next year (midfield already missing Ablett & O'Meara, don't think we can manage if Duncan is added to the list)  :-\

Lucky I voted for the midseason draft (not much relief, but relief nonetheless)  :P
