Jay

Heeney --> Mckenzie
Hogan --> Motlop

Next week:
Mcintosh --> Lever
Vandenberg --> Rockliff

If my calculations are right, I'll have about 10k left over. So hopefully Rockliff doesn't go 140+ or Mcintosh/Vandenberg spud it :-\ but worst case scenario I'll just have to grab Stretch over Lever.

T Dog

Have gone Lumumba and Heeney to Goddard and McKenzie.
Playing McIntosh for 1 more week.

Dont trade Lumumba, backline should be the last line to worry.

You make a good point WW. I am starting to do that now. Harry going a little early as needed his cash this week. Other lines almost settled. Hoping to be done before the byes.
McIntosh upgraded next. Cripps the week after. Then Saad. Finally will have to get around to the ruck line.

Def : Heater, Oxley, Saad, Lumumba, Newnes, Simpson (Kmac,Brown)

Mid: Fyfe, Pendles, Watson, Selwood, Sloane, Cripps, VDB, Miller (CEY,Heeney, Glenn)

Ruck: Goldy, Maric (Read)

Fwd: Martin, Swan, Goddard, Tarrant, Hogan, Clark (Krak, Bellcho)

Having some ponders atm. Players injured/out are CEY, Heeney, Sloane, Simpson, Glenn. 280,000 in the bank before trades.

What im looking to do is go Sloane and Heeney to Gray and Mckenzie. This leaves me with 340 k. Next week ill do Hogan and Kmac to JPK/Rockliff and Lever which will leave me to around 190-200 k. Thoughts on this and improvements. Thanks in advance.

This week I am looking likely to be going Hogan -> McKenzie via Goddard, and Sloane -> Titchell

Next week, I am hoping to be able (barring any more flowering injuries) to go Miller -> Rockliff and Vandenberg -> $530k mid or fwd.

Leaves me with my team after next weeks trades:

Shaw, Pittard, Oxley, Gibson, Newnes (D/F), Saad (D/F), (McIntosh, McKenzie (D/F))

Fyfe, Pendlebury, Shiel, Bontempelli (M/F), Parker, [$530 player], Rockliff, T.Mitchell (M/F), (Ellis-Yolmen, Sheed, Krakouer (M/F))

Goldstein, Naitanui, (Lucey)

Martin (M/F), Swan (M/F), Gray (M/F), Salem, Tarrant, Clark, (Lonie, Goddard (D/F)

So basically need to upgrade Salem, Tarrant, Clark, Lonie to midfielders and swing Bonts, and Titchell fwd.

I'm really struggling to work out what to do this round so I would really appreciate opinions. With Simpson not getting up along with Saad my backline is looking weak.

I'm thinking of going:
Vandenberg - McKenzie
CEY - JPK
leaving me with ~ 9k

Issue is it leaves my back line vulnerable and I was hoping of holding CEY.

The other thing I'm thinking about is:
Vandenberg - McKenzie
Hogan - McDonald/Birchall
leaving me with ~ 55k/79k

Definitely a loss on points but does sure up my back line and allows me to hold CEY.

Now I have written it down I'm thinking with Simpson and Saad coming back in next week I may be worrying too much about the backline. Would really appreciate some feedback :)
Well thought out. If Saad moves to the midfield and you have a backline Emg then bring in JPK.

Thanks! Guess I'm binging in JPK.

Will Sloane be back in r12? if so I'll keep him

Wait until the next few rounds where we'll get a good indication of his injury and how its progressing.

Upgrading Newton to most likely ward
The question is who do I downgrade to Mckenzie?
A) hogan, BE that he may not reach but shouldn't lose a heap of money this week, via Krak DPP (I would prefer to keep Krak in the mids)
B) heeney, injured but not losing money
Or C) Vandenberg also got a BE he might not make
Thoughts would be great

Settled on:

Ellis-Yolman > McKenzie
Hogan > Goddard

Just have to get through the week without Simpson, Saad, Lewis and Jackson Nelson  :-\

Who else have you got up forward Jay? He won't be top 6, but should definitely be in that next group of 6-8

Buddy, Goddard, Dusty, Swan are my premiums. Motlop's bye is nice and seems to be pumping out some consistent solid scores.
