500k in the bank. I'm lost. Send help. Can't get Mitchell cause too many round 12's. Sloane to Rocky next week looks the goods.

But what about this week? Rich to McKenzie and hogan to gray is my initial thoughts. If anyone has a better idea I'd love to hear it!!

Thinking of these trades: (I also have Sloane and got McKenzie last week)

Heeny to Glenn
Hogan to Bontempelli
Move Gray to mids via Krack and leave Sloane on Pine possibly even till he returns and possibly saving a trade down the track given all the injury trades I jhave used already.

Next week Newton to a rookie via Saad.

All depends upon you season's goals.

I'm guessing like the Lions, you have given up on the 'overall'.

Therefore you are either just going for as high a ranking as possible or a league for cash or glory.

If it is a league and you are pretty confident you'll make finals, then hold Sloane.

If your league is tough and you are concerned then get rid of him.

If for highest rankings, I would also chose to get rid of him as in theory it could be longer (or shorter I admit that).

Thanks Doc Most important Leagues are difficult and will be keeping an eye on Sloane.  Could be the original trade reversed Sloan to Sidey. A lot will depend on when rookies reach their ceiling and the need to trade them out. At the moment I have only 14 prems as Nenes and Lumuba have sucked but not alone there and hence why defence will be last sorted apart from downgrading peaked rookies.

Sitting in my worst position in SC for 3 years Doc so just trying to finish well as the Lions did last year  ;)

I am aware of that. But holding him for a week won't hurt. Rather trade down to a rocky than spend up.

NVB to Ward or another GWS mid to assist with byes?

Dilemma for me this week is Titchell or Gray? Gray being a definite keeper, bar injury touch wood! And Titchell, well we all know Titch.

Problem is if I don't grab Gray now I may not be able to afford him for another 5-6 weeks as he seems to be back on an upwards trajectory. Also Titch is currently at bargain price but won't be for much longer

I think you're spot on about Gray.

Go with what you know mate. Gray has to be your man in this situation. He is a must have and will be out of reach in a week or two. Big cloud of question marks above Titch. I am very excited to be welcoming him to my team, but if I was in your situation, to get Gray would be a no-brainer.

Thoughts on what to do with Sloane?

NVB  to Mckenzie is basically a lock
then Sloane to either Mitchell or Selwood

Would hate to miss the boat on Mitchell and the cash from the trade will be handy in he future, however not sure whether he is a keeper, maybe at F6. However, Selwood is basically a sure thing but has he bottomed out, especially with such a high BE

Holden the ball

thinking this trade
hogan to barlow via krak dpp
sloane to Ward

not sold on ward could their be better picks

thoughts?

not many better picks then Ward

JPK, Pendles, GAJ, Rocky, Fyfe and Selwood the main ones i can think of that will average higher then him all the rest are about the same

Jesty

flower Smith I reckon.
turn the clock forward and its crunch time in SC then he pulls put them points.
better options I think.

Bones Bombers

Trade 1 will be be Heeney to McKenzie.
Trade 2 will be to bring in Dave Mundy who I have been keen on getting for a while.
I really don't want to trade Sloane but 4-6 weeks is along time to have that much $ sitting on the bench and if I trade out Hogan my bank balance will be very low. Meaning 2 trades next week to bring in Rocky.
If I do trade Sloane to Mundy I have 200k in the bank for next weeks upgrade.
Backline and forward line upgrades can wait for now as I want to bring in the top mids first.
Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

2 scores of 130 seperated by 3 scores in the 60's and a 53 doesn't exactly excite me. Would need to see a couple more good scores but then he won't be as cheap so the appeal won't be there. Good luck to you though!
