How low do we think Rocky and Jelwood will get next week?

I'm thinking this week Newton and Hogan out for McKenzie and prem forward, with the aim of picking up Jelwood and Rocky the following week.
If that prem forward is Devon Smith, I'm left with 423k. Would like to trade Heeney and Vandenberg, which gives me 987,300 +/- whatever happens with vdb this week... That won't quite be enough I think. Say Rocky 475k and Jelwood 540k... I'd need vdb to go up 23k this week, probably not a happening thing...

the other option is a less expensive fwd, Titchell is really putting his hand up but comes with obvious concerns... Buddy too, already got Goddard... Bont? Zork? None fill me with confidence  :-\

I reckon Rocky will be around the 450k mark

That being said, if he doesn't put up a good score this week, then I'll watch and wait another week or two

He needs to show me that he is scoring well to pick him, just like any other bottomed out Prem

I know Rocky should go 115+, but 97 last week wasn't exactly inspiring

If he goes 100+ this week, then he's in
if you look at rockliff last year he started slow averaging around the 100 mark for the first 6-7 rounds and then went bang once he found his rythym! anything from 85 up and hes in my team without hesitation!

But last year he wasn't coming off broken ribs, a punctured lung and being concussed in a heavy collision

Thinking hard about Heeny,Hogan -> McKenzie and StevieJ

Bit of a risk but at 430Kish i think Stevie could well be worth it

I just don't see any downside to picking Stevie J, interestingly many are saying TMitch would make a great M9, so why not Stevie? He's the perfect loophole player, he can occasionally be used as a VC and he will almost certainly put on 120k over the course of the season (perhaps more).

Yeah i'm not understanding the amount of Titch love, the guy can play, and score, and his JS should be better than it is but that's not the reality so until that's sured up i don't think you can consider him

Money Shot

Heeney>McKenzie
Hogan>Bennel

What is everyones thoughts?
Already have Gray, Martin and Swan in the forwards ...
Only have 15k lef in the bank now though :(

Lever and Rocky in next week for McIntosh and Vandenberg

thoughts?

I'm really struggling to work out what to do this round so I would really appreciate opinions. With Simpson not getting up along with Saad my backline is looking weak.

I'm thinking of going:
Vandenberg - McKenzie
CEY - JPK
leaving me with ~ 9k

Issue is it leaves my back line vulnerable and I was hoping of holding CEY.

The other thing I'm thinking about is:
Vandenberg - McKenzie
Hogan - McDonald/Birchall
leaving me with ~ 55k/79k

Definitely a loss on points but does sure up my back line and allows me to hold CEY.

Now I have written it down I'm thinking with Simpson and Saad coming back in next week I may be worrying too much about the backline. Would really appreciate some feedback :)

Samsturmfels

Will Sloane be back in r12 if so I'll keep him

monga77

Upgrading a mid rookie, can afford anyone, already have Fyfe, Pendles, JPK, Beams
Deciding between ward, hannerberry, Heppell, Selwood, Dangerfield
I'm thinking ward at the moment, but I will probably want Selwood in my team at some stage during the year

HotTiges

Most likely

Heeney to DMcKen
Sloane to JPK

Next week(Hopefully)
Either
tosh to lever
vanders to rocky

Ricochet

Is between Barlow and TMitch for me. Love both but flower it I think i'm going to risk it with TMitch.

RaisyDaisy

Decided to go with Heeney to McKenzie and Hogan to Goddard this week

Well thought out. If Saad moves to the midfield and you have a backline Emg then bring in JPK.

So I already have McKenzie so this week thinking

Vanderberg to Stretch (a week early)
Lonie to Bont/Bennell/Ryder (which?)

Then next week Mcintosh to Lever, Salem to Rocky via Goddard forward

Thoughts? Crazy to go a week early on stretch? If I wait I cant get in stretch lever and rocky next week.

Just hope Stretch doesn't roll his ankle at training like Glenn!!
