This is for me next pre season:

-Structure means jack all.  Players like Bellcho fit a structure but that means nothing unless they can actually score.  In fact, if you feel you have a "safe" team structure, you're probably playing SC wrong because you're not picking players you like.

-Completely ignore injury histories.  Unless it is a glaringly obvious trend, you're fine.  Don't skip out on players like Gray because you fear their injury/suspension risk (unless it's Ziebell).

-Good players can still outplay their pricetags..  Just because you think you've found a "value" pick $100k cheaper than the ultra-premium doesn't mean the ultra-premium can't up their scoring.  See: Fyfe, Goldy, Gray.

-TAKE RISKS.  Betts, McGovern, Houli, McDonald, Shiel, Armatige, Neale, Prestia ... it goes on.  There are heaps of picks which no-one will have and can make you look like a genius.  Just because every person and their dog has a player doesn't mean you need them too.
