Nice mate, I'm waiting a week or two on Rocky (maybe even after his bye) but his fixture is pretty nice over the next 3 weeks so should do well for you

Grufflez

Hope you went with those last trades u put up Jay, Rocky did well and Lumumba is stinking it up

Ended up pulling the trigger on Rocky actually

Trades remaining: 16
Cash: $11,300

Last week I did Tarrant --> Dale, and Brown --> Gibbo. Really happy with that. So for this week, I think Oxley has to go - and I'd like to swing Lumumba back to my defence. I'm thinking maybe Oxley --> Dumont (via Lumumba).

Not sure what to do with Krak though. And then there's the Rockliff dilemma if he's out for a while...

All I know for sure is that I need Gray ASAP  :-X

YoungGun

agree about gray,

could do mcintosh to hamling and then oxley to Gray via lumumba via krak

but mcintosh hasnt mooed fully after that 98. no rookies currently ready to cull to generate the cash you need for gray :/

Yep you've hit the nail right on the head there mate. No perfect downgrade moves this week, to allow me to grab Gray.

I'm thinking if Krak is out, then I'll just do Oxley --> Dumont, but if Krak is named I need to move him along to a premium, potentially Boomer Harvey. Then that will leave Motlop as my stepping stone to Gray.  :-\

Oxley to a mid rookie is probably what I'd suggest. Dumont, Glenn (if named), probably a few others. Personally I might grab Biggs if he's named again, or maybe even do a double downgrade. But you probably need more cash so Biggs not an option if you want Gray this week.

Yeah so just realised you already have Glenn, so could be difficult. How far short of Gray are you if you trade Oxley to Dumont, and then get Krak out?

I'd be $123,500 short which means I would definitely need another downgrade.

I'm hoping Krak doesn't get named so I can hold him another week.

Damn. I probably wouldn't use a trade on Boomer, cause it could just delay you getting Gray even more. Would maybe do just the one downgrade, then next week get Hamling (or whoever) and Gray. And if Krak plays and loses cash so be it, maybe keep as cover for the byes?

Yeah that's the most likely scenario, cheers man. Will just mean that I'll have to close my eyes and not look at my F6 spot this weekend :P

I did consider Krak --> Cal Sinclair in hoping he scores well enough to make 80+k and will provide solid bye coverage - then trade him to Gray when he tops out.

I hear if you say "Callum Sinclair" three times while looking into a mirror, Jukes appears with a stiffy.

That's one way to talk me out of a trade :P

Bruh he's a mate not my lover

PowerBug

I don't want to help you too much as I still need to beat you, but it looks like there is no common sense way of trading in Robbie Gray this week and you should work towards getting him in for Round 11 (Maybe from Cripps/CEY as they bye on that round?)

For this week I think you should either hold completely, I kind of see the hype in Dumont but not the end of the world if you leave him. You could upgrade Lumumba to a premium mid (It's at this point where I say that Pendlebury costs 50k less than Gray)

I don't think you need Oxley in that defence anymore (I did say that to you two weeks ago, could've saved $20k ;)), so trading him to a mid and swinging Lumumba back seems logical. Krakouer I almost certainly think will be dropped so no need to trade him.

If this was my team, I would hit the delete my team button do the following:
Oxley -> Dumont (via McKenzie)
Lumumba -> Pendlebury (Judging by the numbers you should be able to do this by $800)
Leader of the King Karl Amon fan club
Coach of WXV side Rio De Janeiro Jaguars
2023 SC: Rank 126

Jay

So after the Oxley --> Dumont trade, I'm thinking I'll go Cripps --> Gray

I know that I have bigger problems than Cripps but one of them is not having Robbie Gray - and this is the only way I can afford him  :-X
