Sidebottom also an option. Think it's much of a muchness at this ~540k price range.
Considered Neale mate?

With only the 2 trades left after this you still want to have a bit of cash on hand otherwise one of those trades has to be a downgrade. So I'd stay away from Sidey
Yeah if I'm going to go on the cheaper end, I think Sloane is probably the way to go.

What do you think about trading Buddy? Have double chance in my league so can trade him now to hopefully ensure me winning and getting into the prelim with a trade in hand.

Could do Wines --> Sloane & Buddy --> Higgins
Higgins has been absolutely brilliant over the last 10 weeks and POD.
What's your matchup like? Personally I would hold. You'll want/need at least one trade in the prelim and GF.

What about if you put Lambert in your fwd line. Loopholed his score tonight

and Loophole Knight's score in the mids if he isn't the sub/

That way you can wait until before the Sydney game tomorrow night and assess if you'll need to trade buddy out to win?

You're a smart man. Thanks.

Will mean I have to get Sloane over Sidey (my preferred option) though to leave the door open for a possible Buddy trade.

Haha you're welcome. Now hope Knight and Lambert both avoid the vest and destroy it.

Yeh I'd go Sloane. Although Richmond are super stingy

Jack Steele being dropped makes it kinda tricky... Means I'm having to start Knight if I keep Lambert in my fwds!

Ricochet

Ah yeh it does stuff it up hey

Have you checked if your oppo has copped any carnage?

could loophole Dale in your fwd line and field whoever isn't the sub out of Lambert/Knight

Ricochet

How about this...

Loophole Knight in your fwd line and Lambert in your mids.

If Lambert scores well then he can come on for Fyfe no problem. If he doesn't then Motlop (via Steele) can come into the mids
Leaving 2 spots in your fwd line to field.

Those spots can be Knight (if he scores well), Dale (if your comfortable about beating your oppo by the time the dogs game starts) or you can upgrade Buddy.

I think that'll work lol

Bloke I'm playing has Bob Murphy, Beams, Fyfe, Franklin, Steele. Seems like enough carnage for me to hold onto Buddy, unless some crazy shower happens in the early games.

That loopholing sounds good to me, Ric. Thanks for that.

Are you playing me? flowering shower ass week.

Jay

Haha I'm not, Dave. But I've encountered a problem... My opp doesn't have Naitanui ::)

Jay

My match has been turned on its head. It seems my opponent has traded Buddy, and now with Rance's mediocre score - he looks to be the favourite. Helps he doesn't have Nic Nat ::)

Question is, do I try and match him this week and go Nic Nat --> Stef. My projections say it'll be a bloody close game if I do. Or do I just cop the loss, and go into an elimination final next week with 2 trades.

nas

Can you go Gawn? loophole

Can do Nic Nat --> anyone. But I can't do Buddy --> Gawn.

It's either Nic Nat out or hold and cop the loss I think.

Jay

Lost last week, so into a knockout final this week.  :-\ my team is the same as the last one I posted, apart from I traded Nic Nat for Stef last week.

Have a conundrum now... Obviously makes the most sense to trade Buddy for a Dahlhaus type. But I'm scared of TMac being completely run off his feet vs the Dogs at etihad. And he rolled his ankle at training today so that just adds to the worry. He's got a high ceiling, but also a very low floor - so I'm very nervous since my opponent doesn't have him.

What I was thinking was perhaps doing TMac --> Houli/Broadbent, shielding myself from the possibility of him being a late out with his ankle, and potentially avoiding a sub-60 score which would presumably cost me the game.

Of course the downside, is that I would still have Buddy.. However, I feel like Lambert vs the Suns at the G should be a really solid score.

So what do we think.. Trade Buddy, trade TMac, or just hold onto my last trade?

Be honest now, do you really want your SC season to hinge on Matthew Broadbent?

128, 94, 98, 118, 89 in his last 5 :o

I'm scared of TMac ripping my heart out with a 50-odd score  :-[
