Thread for Round 6 banter and team lodgements.

Round 6 (AFL Round 6 Friday May 8th to Sunday May 10th)
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Staines Steins @  Todmorden Sports Centre
Steins had a lucky win over the Dragons last week but will find tougher opposition with the hedgehogs even though they have been a little disappointing this year,
Swansea Breakers v Huddersfield Hawks @ Swalec Stadium
My match of the round this week.  Both teams had strong wins last week and both teams scored over 1500 points. Breakers captain Lewis is suspended so result may depend on coverage for him. Montagna may be back for the Breakers to cover. hawks will be slight favourites but Breakers are at home and their home crowd may spur them on.
Liverpool Rams v Birmingham Dragons @  Goodison Park
Dragons will be sweating on the fitness of Rockliff but even if fit will find it hard going against the undefeated Rams. Who will stop the Rams juggernaut?
Crosby Cruisers v Blackpool Bunnies @ Ewood Park
This will a close match despite positions on ladder.  Bunnies have suffered a couple of close losses and a win over the Cruisers would not surprise.  Both teams have a similar %.
Grope Lane Giants v Nottingham Hoods @ Giant Stadium
Hoods should be too strong for bottom of the table Giants.  They would not want to take them lightly though,
Hastings Hurricanes v Oxford Owls @ Incheon Stadium
2nd v 5th on the ladder.  Should be a great match with both teams having a similar % and total points. A win to the Owls would cement their place in Top 4 whereas a win to hurricanes would put them in log jam for 4th position. If the Hurricanes can contain Gunston can see them getting over the Owls.
Bradford Badgers v Manchester Magic @ Badger Village
Both these teams have been a little disappointing this year. Magic only just getting over the Giants last week and the Badgers succumbing to the Leeches. Both will want to get back to form and I favour Badgers slightly.
Winchester Werewolves v Leeds Leeches 2 The Rose Bowl
This one is another hard to call 4th v 5th Werewolves were surprised by the Owls last week and will be looking to get back into Top 4 and Leeches had a strong win over the Badgers and will be looking to consolidate 4th position. may be decided by HGA to Werewolves and the performances of Captains Fyfe and Armitage (a surprise packet for Leeches this year.)

Teams to be locked at Bounce of Pies and Cats game on Friday night

Do not forget you can claim an additional 20 Bonus Points each week by posting your final score by 9:00am on Monday,  There have been 3 games this year that would have gone the other way if updated final scores were posted in this thread.

Down to the bare bones this week. I think we just have 15 players and no listed playing emergencies.

Do we have to name a sub Ringo? Or can our sub just be any of the emergencies if they play?
