What are you seriously doing with Hodge/Lewis?

What are you actually going to do with these 2 clowns?
Lewis, gone for 2 then back for 3 games and then has a bye. Granted, 2 of those games should be a walk over in Gold Coast and St Kilda...

Hodge, well his ban is yet to be determined. Youd assume it will be longer than Lewis' so probably a no brainer trade there...

Its all well and good to say you want to hold Lewis but when it comes down to the crunch what are you going to do?

If youre thinking of holding are you actually better off trading Lewis to the likes of Glenn and making serious coin and bring him back in after the bye?

I know the argument of "are you going for league win or overall rank" will come into it but does it really matter in this case? Either way you can take an opportunity to keep increasing existing rookies price which will benefit you later in the season...

Interested in hearing your thoughts.

I was thinking I'd just cry and see how that works out.

Just got Lewis, will have a play around and see what I can come up with. My team is a very leaky boat right now.

Only have Lewis luckily and will be holding, he wont drop in price and if you want him back later he could cost you 700K the way he's going this year

Yeah, just had a serious look. I reckon I might hold as well. Trade Van-Berlo to Glenn and Hodge to Boyd if he gets DPP.

So Im holding Lewis and trading Hodge at this point...

Yeah. i dont have hodge in AF. But i do have kelly. Who i will also be holding. Boyd will be my number 1 get in this week.

I'm getting a bit showerting about not having Goddard, but I do like the Bont.

Shame I didn't start with him but I was already committed to Adams and TT Lynch who have worked out nicely themselves.

Tough call. Bonts price is close to peaking but still 40k cheaper than Goddard.

hodge -> mundy
lewis -> glenn
and 580k in the bank

Next week Lumumba -> Boyd
Bank around 410k

Week after Newton -> Lewis
Bank around 40k

Gives me around ~~100 pts~~ just realised its more like 190 extra pts, an extra keeper and roughly an extra 60k or so of price rises

Only issue is you only need one injury and it could stuff you up, stuffed me up earlier this year when i traded out Cripps and planned to get him back, Bartel and Tomlinson both got LTIs. For this reason I'm keeping Lewis, will be too hard to get back if anything doesn't go to plan, and on form is easily best scorer. Solid plan though.

that's the reason I'm only planning 1 trade each week, with the safety net of my bank I can get in Lewis at any point given a rookie who hasn't played is 120k

Its too risky to have Lewis and CEY on the bench could easily end up with a doughnut

Presently I've put Lewis on the bench as to trade him out and back in is a waste later.

So I've gone Salem out, Vanders on fwd line and Glenn in
CEY I wanted to keep but instead upgraded him with my cash I had to Ebert. Was tossing up between him and Pendles as I need a captain for this week.
