Underperforming premos - verdict?

So there are a whole host of premos that have started well below par. Just wondering if anyone can shed some insight into new roles or other issues that are affecting their output.

Rocky -Avg 42 Fairly obvious, subbed out and injuries etc, definitely one to consider!
Malceski - Avg 61 - New club, stats down, injured currently. Priced at 440k though, probably worth a punt when he shows a decent score or two.
Barlow - Avg 87 - What is going on here? Seems like Neale is taking his points, I personally had him down for 110.
Parker - Avg 85 - Sydney haven't started that well, Hanners stealing all his points? Another I had down for 105
K Jack - Avg 89 - Had him improving to near 110, however that hasn't been the case! Dominated rd 1/2 then dropped off the face of the earth...

Obviously this isn't an extensive list, just about every ruck could be on here to be honest!
I'm particularly interested in Jack and Barlow, really thought they'd start better than this - can anyone explain?>

Cheers.

Am looking at all of these. Also Stevie J is extremely cheap. I think Rocky will be an absolute lock once he can string a few games together.

Rocky - Absolute lock when he bottoms out. Even though everyone will jump on him, once he puts a few good scores together you cannot miss the boat on him.

Malceski - I've got him and I'm holding, he's too good to not find form again. Rocket said a few weeks ago he was dealing with 'some issues', which I assume meant a niggle with the knee. Few weeks off should do him well. I'd definitely consider at around 400k

Barlow - Really not sure about Barlow! I had him last year and he was fantastic. I don't think Neale is taking points off, perhaps he is carrying something? Wouldn't be jumping on at this stage though.

Parker - He's been finding a ton of the footy, his scores just haven't been overly impressive. I think everyone might have been jumping the gun on him a little bit though, I don't reckon he was going to be top 10 this year.

K Jack - Seems to do the same thing most years. Can hit the big tons, but then gets a lot of 70-80s. I think his floor is a little too low to be considering him, but should still average 105-110.

Who would you rather out of Parker and Barlow from this point on from what u have seen?

Rocky is the only one that interests me from that list

I never thought about starting Parker or Barlow, and nothing has changed - just my personal opinion but I don't rate them as highly as others in terms of SC

As for Eski, I wouldn't touch him even if he was sub 400k until he actually showed me something

I bailed on Rocky first sign of trouble. Will get back on though, that's obvious.

I bailed on Malceski. Turns out there is a player with the Malceski Role at GC, his name is Saad, and I paid 102k for him.

Parker - I started with him. He's had some bad luck. That won't happen for the whole year. And basically I love the bar stool.

I am itching to trade out Parker, looking at hanners  or Mundy as a Pod but could grab maybe jpk instead

Can't understand people wanting to trade out Parker when I have seriously considered trading him in, and I am sure many will. Hold in my opinion.

doesn't matter how cheap they get or how well they've scored in previous years, there is no point in bringing anybody in if they cannot show they can get back to 105+ at least.

Bluesalltheway

The only one that is a definite to bring in when he bottoms out at this stage is Rocky. All the others have to show the ability to get back to the scoring we know they can deliver for 2-3 games in a row at least especially the midfielders, there are far too many quality midfielders to be wasting one of the 8 starting spots on underperformers.

JBs-Hawks

Rocky and eski are the two for me!

Others arent the best mids at their clubs so wont be top 10 in the AFL ;)

and why is Rocky exempt from the underperforming premos??
if he does show that he can go 105+ he too will not be getting into my side, no matter how cheap he gets.

I'd say because he has been knocked out and injured, while the others are actually playing full games and not scoring well
