I'm very cautious on bringing in defenders off decent scores. Brodie Smith came into my side and produced 60 and 45 :'(

All the defenders this year are doing poo. Except hodge, who will now be suspended. Defenders will definitely be my last upgrades, to get a greater gauge of who is scoring better@

His 3 NAB scores where huge, and now 5/5 matches. That's 8 great scores in a row. How much longer do we need to say OK he is the real deal?

Defenders should be underpriced when you buy em. Too much potential to lose money. Hibberd, Smith cheap in a few.

It's more to do with the fact that they score in a very similar manner I think. Even look at Thompson's extreme inconsistencies, even when scoring at his peak. It's tough to keep up! You really need to be high on confidence to back yourself for those contested intercept marks. Even a player low on confidence can throw themselves at a loose ball  8)

Tmac is doing my head in, I want to pick him but im not sure if he can keep scoring 90-100 for the rest of they year?
If he can average that he is still slightly underpriced atm.

I dont want to bring him in, just to trade him out later in they year.

my other option is to sit newnes on the bench(400K on bench seems like a waste and let him leak money) and bring oxley on feild.
I dont want to trade him out to D macenzie a week early either.
