Early Jack Ziebell thread. Bottomed out at 389k.

Outside of his sub-affected 4, has been solid with 4 scores in the 80s and one monster score of 150.

Tremendous upside at his price.

Probably going to go Salem to JPK/Gray, but very tempting to go for a cheap upgrade (only 100k up from Salem).

Could be a handy F6 or even F7/M9 swingman.

Thoughts?

I'm just going to come out and say it

Massively overrated

Courageous as they get, but that's about it

*EDIT* My comments are in regards to him as an SC prospect, not as an actual player. He's a solid player, but still hasn't lifted to his potential

Had a look at him as a Salem upgrade this week as well.
He seems to be just an alright fantasy player. Sure, he is value at his price, but it just doesn't seem like he will be around about the top 10 forwards at the end of the year unless he gets back to and even surpasses his form of a couple of years ago when he averaged 95.
But then again that is entirely possible with the mid time he gets.

Jack Ziebell 389k.

Before everyone goes into an in-depth discussion on whether he is a good or bad buy, everyone in the fantasy world "TRIES" to get the top 6 forwards or the top 10 mids into that side by the end of the year so you have a full premo side. Sometimes it works, but sometimes its more about buying low and sell high.

Jack Ziebell, 24 years old, 89,80,4,150,82 past 5 super coach scores.. With the likes of robbie grayyy, dusty, swan, buddy, bennell, dalhause, bj, rough all pushing for the top 6 spots for everyones team it is very unlikely that jack ziebell will make the top 5-8 forwards. But is the guy worth a go? There are a lot of north players/mids going around, and there could be question marks over ziebell's potential but this guy should average 85-95 and is a steal atm. Could easily be a decent F6/F7 by years end. BE is hovering around 65.

What are your thoughts about JZ?

Think you answered your own question there

He might be OK for bench cover, but I don't think he is good enough for a spot this year
