Is playing, not bleeding too much cash but definitely is not a keeper.  Worth trading now? I have 200K in the bank so can afford anyone.  No cows mooing yet so not looking to upgrade a rookie right now.

Current premiums are: Fyfe, Pendles, JPK, Jelwood

I do want a keeper so not sure if shiel can maintain the rage for the rest of the year.  Thinking Mundy, is a proven star and with Freo absolutely dominating the comp could be a great pod.  D Beams could be good, looked like he has bottomed out and is a proven star.

Oh man..hindsight I should of gone Rich over him.

He must be under the gun now.. Looking at JPK/Hanners (I have no Swans bar Heeney) even Callan Ward who has more ticker and Beams looks great value although surely he gets tagged?

Bully

It's very hard to predict keepers at this stage, that's why I would hold off for awhile.

Spends too much time up forward, doesn't try, doesn't care, will score 70 if you keep him or 170 if you trade him out.

Very, very true.  But it's equally as true that not trading him out means watching a loss of points and SC cash go steadily down the drain.  With some of the mid rookies doing pretty well it just may be worth looking for a bubble bench option and pocketing the loot and perhaps even picking up some points along the way. I have Griff, Heeney,  Cripps,  EYC,  T Miller,  Rich,  and Vanderberg  fighting over 4 positions so perhaps it is time to cut losses.  Working on having 20 trades coming to bye 2, trading 6 over bye 2 and 3 then having 14 to finish on. Does that seem a reasonable enough spread, or am I cutting it a bit fime ??  Cheers and good wishes to all.    :)

Avg of 89 isn't good enough.. as bad as Newnes with 72

One strategy could be to trade down to Daniel McKenzie and build up your bank account, such a trade would enable you to upgrade 2-3 rookies.

Thinking of getting off the roller coaster and  trading to his team mate Shiel. Think Shiel can keep it up to average 110+ for the year?

Like that a lot Bully, also would give me DPP with Saad in defence and 511.4 k  spending money. Could be the go if he is selected again this week.  Very nice suggestion, thanks mate.      ;)

Ok.  Griff needs to go to get in a cow.  I am thinking Duggan.  The kid can play, first full game for WCE last week.  Dropped in price due to all the vests he has worn.  I think he will make some good scores over the year and will go up in value to around 300-350.  Also it is a bit of a POD as no one really has him.  Simpson is likely to rest the kid so I don't expect him to make cash quickly, maybe one of my last trades. I will be getting in Glenn and McKenzie next week if they get solid scores so no rush to get them now.

What to do with other cash.  Salem is almost mooing.  He may go up another 50, but there is one fwd I want to get.  Dahlhaus.  I didn't get Bont as I don't trust him.  Dahl has a pretty good history with Supercoach and his stats don't lie (70,84,80,91 in previous years).  Doggies have some great games coming up and a great draw.  Dahl is a bit older than Bont so is not as likely to wear out over the year.  Dahl is averaging 108 at the moment but I think he will be around 95-100 (+5-10 ppg compared to last year) for the year which warrants a top 10 fwd spot in my team. He is also a great POD with 3.5% of teams having him.

So trade is Griff + Salem > Duggan + Dahlhaus.

Just had a little look at griffs past games vs the Hawks. I'm holding this week now ;)

Yes.  Plus selected to play in the middle.  Holding tight, this is the week he could go big, if it's going to happen.    ;)

This is his last chance to turn it around for me..

BomberSam

This is his 3rd last chance for me. That doesn't mean he gets 3 more chances. It means this is the third time he has had a last chance ;)
