Salem to who? Boekhorst or Webb?

Glenn or McKenzie ;)

Getting them both next week

I am not sure of the JS of Webb or Boekhorst, but obviously Webb has had his first price rise whereas Boekhorst is on the bubble this week, so that would swing me in his favour. He was touted pre-season as 'ready for AFL football'.

Jackross10

If I'm going for overall is it worth buliding the chest?

Salem - Boekhorst (know his js is dodgy)
CEY - Duggan

Then next week
Kmac - Mckenzie
Brayshaw - Glenn

Which would leave me with around 940k. Or should I forget Boek and get an upgrade this week.

Purely for overall this is?

I appreciate riskit biscuit and all that, but I think you could end up with too many guys on the edge of selection.

CEY is a handy loop hole until he returns and his scoring potential makes him a far safer back up later in the year when trades run out (which they will if you are chasing overall).

I would get keepers in ASAP.

Salem is definitely out this week for Pendles via DPP.

CEY/Goodes have thrown a spanner in the works. I think I’ll give Goodes another chance, sub effected or not his replacements (Smith/Hibberd/Simpson) are all falling in price too so it’s not a huge deal if he drops a few $$.

CEY is my only non playing player to loophole, so if Pendles (VC) goes large i’ll hold onto CEY for now to loophole the VC score but if he fails to provide a decent score then I may knee jerk on CEY as I need to start upgrading as I have plenty of other cash cows!

MID: Fyfe, Pendlebury, Beams, Sloane and Parker
FWD: Gray, Martin, Swan, Bontempelli

$564,100 to spend.

Who would you go to from CEY if you jumped off?
MID like Josh P Kennedy/Shiel or up FWD with Goddard/Dahlhaus

Depends where you need reinforcement.

I personally have 3 rookies on field in my forward line but I also lack punch in the midfield. With JPK at bottom dollar, it's the perfect time for me to reinforce my mids, then get Goddard or someone at a slightly higher price for my forward line next week.

Okay. Salem to go, but to who....

I'm thinking Goddard as he has a proven scoring history and is at bargain bottom price with a BE if 69. Or Buddy because...., well he's Buddy. Been doing okay in a side that haant quite hit its straps yet so could be due....

Currently have
Swan. Dusty. Bennell. As my fwd Premos.

Looking for my complete fwd line to also include Gray. Buddy. Deledio. Bartel. Goddard. Depending on performance and recovery from injury.....

Also seems that everyone will be double downgrading next week to guys like McKenzie and Glenn. Thoughts on bringing Glenn in a week early to get a one down one up both this week and next....? Would love to add JPK to my mids next week while he seems to have plateaued!

2 double downgrades in 2 weeks is too much. Ideally, you would be adding scoring potential to your team each week while maintaining a bank in my opinion, find the balance. I like to have between 80-200k in my bank each week. Paint the fence, one up, one down.

In saying this though, you need to take good rookies as they come. In a week like next with two potentially very good rookies in McKenzie and Glenn, or last week with Krak and Tarrant, then go for it by all means. Build that bank. In my opinion, neither Boekhorst or Webb are worth it. I'd go a week early on Glenn, if you must downgrade this week.

Nobody chasing or winning overall has 940k in the bank. That's putting you 200 points a week behind

billnats

If you have to pick one, which one:
- Mundy
- Neale
- JPK

Current team before any trades this week.

Shaw. Hibberd. Lumumba. Newnes. Oxley. Saad. (McIntosh. Brown.)
Fyfe. Sloane. Jelwood. Lewis. Ward. Cripps. VDB. Heeney. (Krakouer. CEY. Miller.)
Goldy. Nic Nat. (Read.)
Swan. Dusty. Bennell. Salem. Hogan. Lonie. (Clarke. Tarrant.)

Bennell out for 3, Lewis out for 2 and wouldn't be surprised if Sloane a late out.

how much in the Kitty? I would do Salem to BJ and Heeney to Glenn then next week downgrade KMAC into a Mckenzie and from their, you can upgrade someone like a Hogan depending how he goes this week.

$269,700. That's pretty much what I was thinking. Other small thought was Krak to fed via DPP and Salem to JPK.
