I never rage trade, I have always kept a level head in SC

But the time has come - im thinking overall

Im at breaking point with Hibberd (ave 70) I bought him for 95 Ave (Mcintosh is averaging the same)

Im thinking of trading him to a rookie in defence (Mckenzie, yes 1 week but that frees up $$$)

Then trade NEwton who is now excess in mids to pendles (ave 125-130)

Am I mad ???

The backs are the issue for everyone but believe the POD in SC this year is getting the mids sorted first....

One is proven bug out of form, the other a genuine spud, which is why I'm doing the early trade

Yep I think trading hard could put me in a real good spot - Won't be culling rookies prematurely either. Just need a few decent  downgrades to show up over the next few weeks

Think you're going way too early on Lumumba mate

All he needs to do is put in another ton and all of a sudden he's back averaging around the 85-90 mark. More than acceptable for a D4-6 this year I think. Besides, even if he continues averaging 80 you would only gain about 5-10ppg by trading him. Would much rather focus on upgrades/downgrades for now

This week - Goodes to McKenzie

Next week - Vanderberg/Miller to Glen

leaves me with approx 430k.

Then 1 upgrade next week and one the following.

Miller/Vander/CEY to Sloane and Salem/Bellchambers to Goldy. Leaves me set up pretty well.

Thoughts? Currently have 28 trades and 110k in the bank.

What are peoples thoughts on Parker? Seems like a lot of people are jumping off Griffen who is averaging a bit more than parker, but most people seem to be against trading out Parker yet they vote to trade out Griffen. I have him in my team expecting atleast 108ish but doesnt look like hes gonna be there anytime soon. Very tempted to trade him out for someone like Mundy or Hanners

This might sound a bit hypocritical cause last week I traded Newnes to Whitecross but I would say you are definitely mad if you trade Hibberd to McKenzie. Just as you jump off the hordes will begin to jump on cause he will have bottomed out and will hit a purple patch of about 4 consecutive tons. Taking a rookie a week early is always a risk which I rather not take after getting burnt by O'Rourke last season but if McKenzie holds his spot after the inclusions of Joey and Roo you could probably take him with some confidence but it shouldn't be Hibberd making way for him. If you've got Newnes or Goodes get rid of them instead
