I've (only?) used 4 trades so far and ive got $386k in bank so I'm ready to spend it this week.

Option 1: Salem to Pendles via Krak (losing my DPP link)
Option 2: Salem to Goddard, possible second trade Newnes to Birchall
Option 3: Salem to Ziebell, Goodes to Birchall

Any thoughts guys?

Bring in Pendles for sure!

I've only used 3 trades and have 222k
should i do:
option 1: Goodes> Tmac and Heeney>Glenn (87k left)
or
option 2: Goodes> mckenzie and Heeney> Jpk (18k left)

I think option 2. JPK is a safe premo unlike Tmac. And there aren't many defensive rookies so it won't cost you alot if Mckenzie doesn't fire. I think he should play enough games to make a bit of coin anyway.

Rucks are set and forget. Stefan Martin and Maric + Bellcho cover.

Defence needs work but we don't know who to target yet and my preferences in Hibberd, Simpson and Smith are probably still a week away with high breakevens.

Midfield lacking punch plus full of underperforming premiums.

3 rookie forward line.

Priorities should probably go:
1. Defence- weak and underperforming.
2. Midfield- lacking punch, most points come from here.
3. Forward line- 3 rookies on field isn't ideal.

Since there's not much I can do with my defence this week, I am waiting until next week to upgrade.
This week I have gone Salem to Ziebell and Griffen to JPK.

Considering just one trade this week, it's going to be either:

Henney--->Glenn
or
B. Goodes (yes I've held him for this long because Andrews/Kelly didn't impress me) ---> D. McKenzie

I don't think Heeney is going to play and I want the 0 to see if it's worth loopholing Touk Miller this week but I know nothing about McKenzies JS.

Which one would you do? I intend on upgrading next week.

Southstorm

Tempted to flower Newnes off this week any be done with it. 5 games, 4 poor scores tempered by the one average one in round 2, showing nothing like being the D6 we wanted from him, can't even see him getting an average of 85.

Salem to Stefan Martin via Belly at this stage

Noz

Which one

I am locking in Salem - Glenn (Via Krak) then which one do i do after that

Belly - Martin (already have Nic Nat)
Hogan - Any forward (Already have Swan, Martin and Gray)
Tosh - Any defender (except Houli, Rance,Hodge and already have Shaw and Smith)
Clark - Any forward under 485k

I've flowering burnt 6 already ... I just have to pull my itchy trade finger away from the mouse and calm the flower down!  :-X   :-\   :P   ;)
Pleeease.  Keep going.  Join me.

I'll have burnt 9 after next week.  And probably 11 by the week after.  Too many good upgrade targets to just sit on.

JPK this week, Selwood next week, Rocky/Sloane after that.

What's everyone's opinion on Ziebell?

bennyfraz

Salem - Gray
Bellchambers - Buddy (has managed a decent average even with terrible conditions in 2 of the games, expecting big things against Melbourne)

LordSneeze

Newnes scored over 50 in the first half on the weekend so its not like he cannot score well.

Im sure he is doing it to spite us all.

Is anyone at all considering byes when they're making their trades or just picking the best options?

Somewhat

I am trying my best to balance it all out, but at the same time I'm not going to let 1 week influence my team too much. If a player is too good to pass up on, then they come in regardless
