I've had enough

He is the ultimate premo. Years and Years of 95avg, barely misses a game, but right now Carlton are rubbish and he is scoring like crap

103 and 92 in the first two rounds was fine, but has since gone 78 and 72, and is currently on 21 at 1/2 time

Last 3 weeks have been poor, and Carlton being as horrible as they are, what do we do with him?

I know the overwhelming response will be to hold him, but geeez he is giving me the showers!

He's going to be cheap soon. I can see myself trading him into my team in a few weeks.

Don't work about tonight RD. Carlton as a team are not even VFL standard tonight and Simpson cannot play much worse.

Hopefully you didn't pick him for consistency? He has always thrown up 40-70 point games throughout the season. He is on par with his historic pattern so far. Will bounce back with a 120-140 point game soon to get the average back up to mid 90's!

There's your answer right there pal. Yep this game is a bit worrying but never know what he'll pull out in the second half... I feel your pain a little with Hibberd instead, picked him at the start and he's gone 59, 84, 84, 100. So at least he started shower and is working up, Simmo going the other way. But still I was hoping for 90+ so even the two 84's were a little disappointing. BUT now people are talking about getting him in on the cheap now. Because he's a premo and a keeper and this is exactly what people are hoping for. You've started with Simmo who I'm looking forward to picking up cheaper too, but trust me, people are going to want to get him in. Again, because he's a premo and a keeper and this is what people like me were hoping for. He'll still be a top defender, picking the good ones to start was a real pain!

1 (okay maybe 5) chill pill and a glass of faith ;) He'll come right, not worth trade out and then in again later.

Simmo has done well while Carlton has been average, but my concern is that because they are so shower now, is it time that he will finally no longer be a premo?

Maybe. But you'd still have to leave him and hope for the best until your team is finished, and see what you've got left by way of luxury trades. Still very early days.

Still averaging 86 before this week, more than enough for a keeper. Was averaging about 85 this time last year. He'll be fine. Who would you trade him to anyway, not many good defenders this year

Hodge and Gibson are the only 2 standout defenders so far I reckon.

McGovern as a smokey does look good though too.

My defence is currently Shaw, Taylor, Lumumba, Adcock, Newnes, Oxley, Saad, McIntosh. This will be my last line to upgrade.

Simmo will be very cheap soon but I still wont pick him up until he has a good run. Has been a very good player previously but the Carlton games I have seen this year he has been nowhere near the ball
