Sorry guys, been working like crazy so far this week and starting at 6am tomorrow :(

I've just shoved a poll up of people that have scored well or are usually premiums. If I missed a legitimate C option that you want in the poll, let me know and I'll add them in.

Use this thread as a captain discussion thread this week so we don't clog up the rest of the board with questions.

Cheers,

LH

Reckon this is the week to pick a POD

Lewis is in good form, BUT North haven't conceded over 115 to anyone (except Tex and Betts when they didn't turn up) yet this season

Pendles, Sloane, Fyfe & MBoyd all look really solid to me, but seemingly lack the ability to really rack up and post 125+

Rocky is still unfit, DO NOT PICK

Hodge, Goldstein and Beams are the risky picks here - either due to being in a weird position, or just plainly out of form

Mundy and Jelwood can pull off the big numbers, but they can also flatter to deceive and leave you sub-ton = do you feel lucky?

Heppell would probably be my #1 pick here, but can't pick him with any great conviction (StKilda are a pretty leaky side this season though, if you do need convincing)

My ranking:
Heppell - Lewis - Pendles - Sloane - Fyfe - MBoyd

for me: It's damn tricky to take it off a guy averaging 140, but this may be the week to pick a POD in a tight league game

Might be dodgy memory but aren't both Carlton and Collingwood leaky this season? I don't think anyone would have any Blues players worth picking (Everitt anyone?!) but Pendles or even a gamble on Swanny might be worthwhile.

When was the last time a rookie went really big twice in a row? Macrae? TMitch? Way back with Barlow?

It's one of those things, you wish you had the gonads to do it!

actually think it'll be Gibbs that will topscore for Carlton this week, which bodes well if you trust the leaki-ness (Collingwood average 127 to best mid)

I also think it will be Gibbs but I didn't think anybody had him. Hence the suggestion of someone that could be (and should be) more popular in Everitt.

Will probably go Lewis, yes North haven't given up a score over 115 or whatever but if someone was going to do it it'd be the easily highest scoring player in the comp. His form is too good to refuse, will stay with him until he proves otherwise.

I've got Lewis but I'm strongly considering Goldstein for the lols
