They gave Touk Miller a few games early when he wasn't getting big numbers. I like to think Glenn gets a decent run at it.  Only has to generate a few 80s from here on in and he's done enough; oh and not break team rules.

What's his JS like now that everyone's recovered from their hangovers? Bennell, Matera, McKenzie, Stanley all dominated the NEAFL on the weekend and look set for recalls.....

Guess we will have to wait till the teams are realised to find out!
If he plays this week I think I will get him.

Injury toll rising at the Suns, maybe increased opportunity for Glenn.....

"GOLD Coast's injury crisis has deepened, with Rory Thompson and Adam Saad already ruled out of Saturday's game against West Coast, while Tom Lynch is also in doubt.

Thompson has aggravated a hip flexor problem that forced him to miss in round five, while Saad picked up a minor hamstring injury in Saturday night's loss against Adelaide, and Lynch is battling a corked calf.

Suns coach Rodney Eade said his injury-hit side would train with just 20 fit players at Tuesday's session."

Rocket likes to persist with the kids. Touk Miller didn't do much in the first couple of games, but he kept getting selected, went into the midfield and now looks like a future star. With everything happening on the Gold Coast, it's hard to imagine Rocket not persisting with Glenny.

I think Glenn will remain in the side for a few weeks at least with the injuries GC  has.

He hurt his ankle at training today so will be in doubt this week

This makes it my decision much easier in not getting him.

good call on Rocky as long as he can go 120+ this weekend

So really wondering whether Glenn is actually the Gold Coast rookie on the bubble who we should be looking at this week?? Consider.....

Josh Glenn (mid)
First Game 103
Second Game 36 (unsubbed)
Potential ankle injury at training

Henry Schade (def)
First Game 41
Second Game 59
Both unsubbed

I'm a little concerned that Glenn's first game might have been a flash in the pan one-off, whilst Schade is showing gradual improvement (a la Touk Miller).  I know the sample size of two games is too small to be relevant, but I wouldn't be surprised if Schade is actually going to make more money over the journey.  McKenzie is the best option of all three, however I already have him, and was tossing up one upgrade/one downgrade when I come to this conundrum, which one of the two????  (My over-all is stuffed anyway, so might even just grab both, leaving this ramble as about as irrelevant as the sample size tbh)

I might wait out till next week...

Maybe Heeney to Lever via McKenzie  or Heeney to Stretch

Ricochet

and this is why. Always wait until rookies are on the bubble

I'd still hold a week mate. You never know what can happen with selection/injuries/form/etc. At least if you get rookies on the bubble your 95% guaranteed a price rise

Don't you love when you are right :)
Stretch has kept his spot, hopefully he is named next week, we are all gonna need that cash!

FFS, grabbed him over TMitch last week 'to be safe'  ::)
