I currently have Will Minson who I'm not sure will come back up to the seniors, Stef Martin has gone down to a nice price and with Leunberger dropped Martin will likely stick as the sole ruckmen. Is he worth a trade in? I have 100k in the bank.

I think the big question is- Goldstein or Martin?

Both HUGE ceilings, Martin $60k cheaper, but if Leuenberger comes in, his scores may get lower. Also, surely Goldy can't keep avging 130...? Martin is a big POD compared to Goldy being in stacks of teams...

Yeah the big if is Leunberger, but you just can't see them playing both when it hasn't worked. Martin by himself last year was amazing surely the Lions see that.

Rate him very highly but is obviously the second choice at brissie now.
They should use him on the trade table to find a forward

Being a Pod is a bad thing if the other guy is better   which he us.

Going Goldy and marrin on the otherhand could be a power combo

I can't see his scoring dipping too much this year if he remains sole ruckman.  He never really was about hitouts.

Averaged 22 disposals last year!!  Madness.

Goldy looks like he'll be the best ruckman for the year, I don't see Martin scoring as well as him. I will be bringing Martin in next week to partner Goldy however if he goes well again this week

I plan on upgrading Nic Nat up to Goldy at some point most likely, so spare the cash now bringing in Martin while he's down, and hope Goldy has a lean patch somewhere in the year to get Nic Nat up to Goldstein.

Glad I got Stefan Martin. 2% of teams have him, and scored 125 to Goldy's 88 this week. Martin just has such an ability to get the ball, he works so hard to run and spread from contests and gets a tonne of pill. As long as they don't bring back Berger, he will be a top 2 ruck for SC.

24 touches and 42 hitouts....If he can snag a couple of goals in the future 150!

Rucks that tackle and get possies, getting their points away from hit outs (like Martin,Goldy) are the way to go this year I'd say.
