There's no way we play as bad as last week - Walshy won't let that happen in front of our home crowd.

Crows by a kick.

You'd think there will be a response from them for sure, it was as bad as ive seen from them in recent times. A repeat will see me give my fantasy team codes to Dudge and then check into Glenside cause im going to need therapy mate.
Showdowns are belters generally no matter where we are on the ladder, want to see the boys take it right up to Port, a win brilliant if not a good honest loss i can live with as much as i hate saying it against the arch enemy.

Bye Bye.

Very good win, port definitely needed that. Could be a real slaughter if they're on next week against the iggs...

20 contested possys and 11 clearances by Gray very nice, Armitage-like :P

As expected, Port are still a fair way ahead of us and yesterday showed that. Lots of work to do.

Yeh they are, was aware of this going into the game. 2nd qtr entries into our forward line was around 23 for us for a couple of goals Port had like 5-6 for 3 goals from memory. This was telling and the trend continued for most of the game but they ate it up and rebounded, Carlile and Trengrove were very good, our last kick into the fwd's was ordinary we just bombed away and Port's were polished and damaging.
Plenty of work still needed from our boys, still got a bit to learn yet before were anywhere near good enough to compete with the quality teams.

You saw our last two weeks right? Albeit against the Lions and GWS, prior to this week the Giants were quality.

Can compete/10.

eagles can't beat top 8 sides, we saw it last year (I think they were 0-9 against the final top 8) and we've already seen it this year when they were killed by Freo in the only quarter they tried in.

Port on form could be a repeat of the derby.

In the past sure, but on form, we can definitely compete. Aside from the first three quarters of the derby, I believe we've played reasonably positive football this season.
