Lions will win
The suns team looks horrible without Ablett, Omera, Swallow etc

Agree three big ones missing, they were missing Omera even before Swallow went down last week on top of Gazza, how do you replace that.

Just a couple of points. Haven't the Suns only won 1 game without Gaz since last year? Also I think the Lions spanked them the last time they played. If the weather is crap the Lions have some decent smalls that can snag a couple each so I have them winning

weather has cleared but my goodness was today wild.
Can not agree more Strikes - Sun now shining with clear blue skies.  Do not any part escaped the drenching.  With the amount of rain that came down expect the ground still to be heavy underfoot though.

Driving down the M1 2day Ringo?  Approx 174 mm @ Ormeau.

No Nas was initially going down on Club arranged bus but had a request to look after grand kids so that took precedence unfortunately.
We had 202mm at Wishart so who would have thought how today dawned.

NEAFL game will be after the main game whgich will also help the condition of the field.

If one side wins well pressure will mount on coaches,  Would like to see a closely contested game with a Lions win and Suns able to hold heads high in defeat,

As I said last week our effort against West Coast was atrocious and was the most disappointing I have seen for years even allowing for poor form in recent times we still tried to compete.

Haha yeah I'm dirty they are forecasting a 40% chance of rain this arvo/evening!

I heard that Brisbane is only a few mm's short of the May rainfall record and its only the 2nd!!

Ringo

Carrara (where Metricon is situated)has only recorded 109mm of rain for the 24hrs ended 9:00am so with the fine day today and slight westerly drying wind ground may be OK by 4:40pm bounce.

It appears the worse part of storm went inland form the Coast and hence rainfalls on the Gold Coast not as heavy as Brisbane.

Caboolture (Northern end of Brisbane) had close to 300mm from 9am to 5pm insane

I'm no weather expert but that still sounds like a flowering lot :P
